Character Discussion Eustass Kid is the tankiest character in Wano!

Yeah he is very tanky, that's for sure. I kinda agree with that sentiment, was also very surprised when he just took Mama Raid. That's a feat I wouldn't have thought was possible for human characters tbh, perhaps there was a little plot armor at play, but still a great feat.
In general I think he still has great potential. Right now he's just limited, because he needs a) a little prep time for most of his named moves and b) resources and even then he still just makes use of blunt force attacks and those metal constructs can still be overcome by anyone worth their salt, as it's just junk afterall.
Kid would need CoC barrier attacks. This in combination with assigns and damned punk for war settings, where there's not someone present, who can see like 1hour into the future and he would be good to go and a very powerful character at that in both 1on1s and war like settings.
Right now he's imo simply just too vulnerable towards all kinds of attacks, while he lacks the right amount of attack efficiency.

Why is this thread being necro’d like he’s wrong (well he is but that’s cause of Kaido and King)
He tanked a named sword attack from Big Mom while being damaged by Hawkins and went on to fight for a long time after that
Mind you he didn’t block the attack with haki or anything like that as far as we know
That’s insane durability for a character that isn’t a Lunarian or an Oni or something
