Yes you are right on one single thing, scum would vote for Rej as well. He is probably acting like a kamikaze to make his buddies look somewhat better as they will vote for him as well. So that Mafia will gather better control over the game by next day phase.

They probably realized lynching me would of made them look too bad. Since I feel I have outed most of 'em, even though I still got no proof.

He basically has just claimed a non existent version of the Vengeful role which is obviously a fake claim.
