I made a thread predicting Snakeman in Oro Jackson. I literally called it "Speedman". That form made perfect sense, and most people were predicting it.

Haki doesn't increase his raw power.

I never said AdCOC increases his raw power, it increases his attack power in general.

All Scabbards managed to cut through Kaido's dragon scales too, Law bypassed it, Killer, Zoro (funnily enough, he only scarred Kaido with Asura + COC), Kidd hurt him too. Yet what most lacked - including Luffy - was simply... more power.

It's not about strength, but about being able to penetrate deep enough into his body.

AdCOA already penetrates deep enough into Kaido's body. Again, Luffy had to gain a PU because punches are not that effective on Kaido, he had no issues using AdCOA on his dragon scales.

It's simply the case that AdCOC attacks have more power than COA ones.

We can be certain that there will he a G4 form which will perfectly harmonize with Luffy's new Haki PU. Tank Man and Bound Man were perfectly combined with hardening, Snake Man was even better with FS now - whatever his new G4 mode will be - a new G4 mode will perfectly use this AdCOC boost to create stronger attacks than all other G4 forms.

Unlike you, I rather think his King moves will be the new prefix for his new G4 form. You could also see how Luffy's KKG was the same in size - unlike the DR version - but he rather sent out a huge shockwave towards the object. Just wait, if Oda draws such a new mode, it sure will make sense why it will pack so much more attack power than his other gears.

Oh okay, I was just wondering why you're so persistent to even believe about a Tiger theme'd G4 mode against Kaido.

I think awakening will allow Luffy to manipulate his cell or even better, atoms, or in other words his body will behave as a logia user similar to Katakuri, as he likes and vulcanization would be his new mode (G5) based on his awakening and vulcanization. This wouldn't only destroy Luffy's limitations on his DF, it would also remove any kind of gear drawbacks not related to Haki either, as well as giving him the ability to PRODUCE RUBBER since he actively manipulates his atoms. Plus, making a gatling with multiple arms seems really powerful.

I don't understand what difference the name makes? No one is saying Luffy won't use CoC coating. I already stated long ago that Luffy might use an "Ou Kong Gun" (way before Zoro used En-Ou), which is just a King Kong Gun with CoC.

A G4 Jet Culverin with CoC, is still a Jet Culverin. KKG with ACoA was still KKG.

COC gives him more power than COA, that's the reason why base Luffy inflicts better damage than AdCOA Bound Man now.

aCoC amplifies AP or raw power, it does not penetrate. What’s the difference with armament then? Armament is the haki for penetration. It’s “too shallow” because he lacks the raw power to do any significant damage. Luffy was already using internal destruction, there’s no other penetration deeper than that. ACoC can even make your moves not touch, signifying the raw force behind your attacks.

Look how Bound Man used a "regular" KG but named it King Kong Gun by sending a huge shockwave towards an object. Oda's not just writing such things for basically nothing.

I repeat, look at DR KKG and Post Udon KKG, only the prefix is the same.

I already stated long ago that Luffy might use an "Ou Kong Gun" (way before Zoro used En-Ou), which is just a King Kong Gun with CoC.

The prefix "King" was used on Kong Gun (Bound Man) and Cobra (Snake Man) which proves that King moves are not necessarily Bound Man exclusive stuff, neither are Rhinoschneider or Culverin. Snake Man's signature move is python and (Jet) Culverin. Tank Man had just a single move but if Luffy uses it against Kaido, I think Rhino Schneider might be a signature move too, I dunno.

Sanji renamed his moves, Zoro as well.
Both are his wings. Luffy got the Haki power up, yes, but he still has yet to show his new mode. No matter what his new mode would be, Luffy's gonna use a new official version of his previous techniques, similar to Ifrit Jamble and En'Ou Santoryu.

A G4 Jet Culverin with CoC, is still a Jet Culverin.

Of course, he's just imbuing attacks with COC, this is still not an entirely new mode. We'll see a new application soon when Luffy effectively combines his Haki PU with his new mode.

That's why I think there is a pure power G4 form. Boundman to me always seemed like an all rounder. I think Luffy will cycle through his 3 current G4 forms and then end it with a power one. If that takes us to G5 too or just G5, then so be it. But he is getting something new in this upcoming fight. People just straight up deny that shit for some reason.

Now his awakening could actually help him changing the structure of his rubber body in gear 4th without the need to waste time over coating himself in haki since the hard yet elasticity he can replicate just with his devil fruit ability alone.

By doing this, this will help him save the amount of haki he previously wasted by making gear 4th a solely devil fruit related ability that does not require the maintenance of armament haki to use or to sustain it. This as a result will also allow him to stay in g4 longer

I don't think he's getting awakening mid fight. Clearly that comes with training and nobody has shown him (or us as readers) how it works.

That's just me though maybe he does, but we have to save powerups for the x amount of fights actually left

He has had his fruit for over 10 years. Added with the fact that he daily has to train his body with it since even to throw a punch he has know the trajectory etc before hand
