Interesting way to go about the chapter from Hara. I thought they would just jump staight into the fight with each other and then it would continue that way until some sort of conclusion was reached (obviously not a satisfying one, for me at least) and then it would lead into the finale of the arc, but it seems like we are getting even more build up to the actual duel between the two, assuming there is going to be one at all in this arc.
Now that I think about it I would be fine if Houken got away somehow and there was no prolonged battle between him and Shin since I'm not a fan of Shin doing such in the condition that he is in right now.
Those dirty Bushin man. I love that Houken is now getting some added depth to prove all those silly downplayers wrong lol. There is a much deeper layer to his character than just being that one really strong guy. Lol

Great to see more being added to Houken's character with this, but I hope it's not Hara going in a route that attempts to make use sympathize with him after everything that he's done.
Full chapter summery thanks to the Kingdom Community and Kingdom Vietnamese Facebook group :
This chapter is Riboku’s memory when he first met Houken. Which means everything in this chapter will be from Riboku’s opinions, including about Houken’s path.
Before meeting Houken, Rbk was taking Ls constantly. He was desperate and in one battle he was injured and had to hide in the forest. Houken appeared with tiger on his hand, RBK thought that wasn’t human.
Houken spoke: “I will kill anyone who stands on my path!”
RBK, already given up on his life, accepted his death. Houken suddenly said that RBK’s mission wasn’t finished, and that the “gods” led him to RBK, who will guide Houken on his path. (So RBK only survived cause Hara told Houken so)
RBK told Houken that he was wrong and passed out. When he woke up, he found that his enemies were all killed by Houken. Exhausted from the wars, as well as taking interests in Houken, RBK stayed hidden for a while
He found out that the Bushin had existed before the 500 years of warring states, and that their original mission was to save humanity from war itself. So the bushin aimed to become something surpassing all humans to achieve this goal. Basically they threw away their lives to become “gods”.
So Houken’s goal is not to become the strongest, but to prove that he can walk into the “realm of the gods”. TO BECOME A GOD THAT SURPASS ALL HUMANS SO THAT HE CAN SAVE THEM FROM WARS, THAT IS THE “PATH”OF HOUKEN!
Wow that's good!! And I'm sure Shin will find the solution to Houken's thoughts...
What happens if a Bunshin dies and next one is not yet ready... The fighting again gains prominence during that time. Also, Bunshin before Houken couldn't achieve their goal for five hundred long years...
I really like the theme of the battle. The ideological differences Shin and Houken may have is really exciting!! Can't wait for Shin's answer
I will need time to ponder what this means in context to all of his previous actions in the manga lol. Houken truly never struck me as someone who actually wanted to end the wars, he struck me as a pawn of Riboku being manipulated to an end.
But it seems his crazy ass was actually the one “guiding” Riboku all along lmfao. We can now safely say that that it is not Shouheikun, Tou, Gyou’Un, etc who is the strongest GG subordinate, but Houken himself
I will need time to think about all of his previous actions again with this new framing in mind. Riboku and Houken are solidifying themselves as my favorite villains in manga now. Lol
