Idk I feel happy that Ousen army is looking competent. They have looked bad for quite a while now and this chapter feels like a slight reversal against this portrayal. Shiryuu holding off two Seika generals is an amazing feat. Now we need more Ousen vs SBS tactical battle to top this off. Maybe Riboku will join in too.
- Akou jumping in obvious bait and him leaving his army to rush to Ousen while he's half dead and alone.
- HSU forcing the reserves to fight the weakest oponnent on the Zhao side just to pursue something that everyone knows ends in failure.
- Ousen only overseeing and not commanding.
Those are my issues. But the showings of Ji Aga and Kan Saro I have absolutely no problems with. The battle just started and we're already reaching the climax. Ji Aga and Kan Saro are untouched while Akou, Shiryou, Denrimi and Sou'Ou are on the brink of death.
What do people expect?
That a Qin 6 army gets run through in 30 minutes without putting up a struggle?

The past chapters serve to give more character to Ousen’s commanders who were and will be important for the future arcs, using one chapter every now an then for their FB's is totally alright.
Now I get that people want Shibashou to wreck some shit but like I said during Shukai we spend like 90 chapters on army vs army before Ousen and RBK clashed, now we get the main clash after like 10 chapters.
We should be a bit more patient.

I honestly thought only the last 2 chapters weren’t up to standard quality.
Yeah, it was disappointing and the pacing was utter dog shit but if I binged this I wouldn’t have given this a second thought.
I’ll wait and see how this Ousen vs SBS conflict resolves before I pass judgement. I still thoroughly enjoyed the first 10 chapters of this arc.

As momentarily cool as these Gigakou moments have been to look at, Akou should have focused on plowing through Gakushou and Fuuon, which he very nearly did anyway. Lol. Killing those two, defeating the Gakushou Army in its entirety and then going to save Ousen or Sou'ou would have been a truly awesome "Iron Man of the Ousen Army" moment. Instead, Akou is looking kind of dumb since he nearly kills people only to abandon capitalising on a near win and going after Ousen on his injured lonesome, leaving his army behind to face Gakushou without a General leading them. Akou is looking tactically goofy at the moment.

Sure his army can act without him but they are still nerfed and in a numerical disadvantage.

I think people still aren’t ready to accept that Hara is intentionally writing this as the Ousen army’s weakness lol. People somewhere along the way convinced themselves that Ousen was a flawless general but no, I’ll say it again, I think we are seeing their weakness at play now.
