Shin thinks that if he can't get past the enemy's defense thru his sword then he'll cut down his movement instead. Then with the power of his glaive he'll cut thru his defense, sword included, in one swing. The HSU celebrates as they witness Shin cutting down GKHK. GKHK says the pleasure of killing him must be the best. Shin says that's right. GKHK says that's fine then to which Shin replies he's an idiot for thinking that. GKHK's soldiers start charging towards Shin to kill him while the HSU blocks them off with their second wind given by Shin killing the enemy general.
Garo notices the enemy coming from their left from the forest. The amount of soldiers and the amount of cavalry is enough to wipe out the HSU present at the time. Then the HSU hears a noise from the other direction and sees Kyoukai's unit coming towards them with a big number. Kyoukai says they'll deal with the approaching enemies so use that chance to get away. Kyoukai tells Rei to go help them to which Rei says dealing with people is always annoying. GKHK's soldiers keep going for Shin then Rei cuts thru. Denei sees that she's okay while Rei laughs at Shin for being shaky, says he's weak then asks if he's okay. Shin tells her to shut up.
The enemy captain says they have the bigger number so they'll use their strength to push them off the cliff. Kyoukai calls their plan exactly and says they'll use the pendulum strategy to split their strength left and right. She calls 3 of her soldiers to join her in the center where it'll be the toughest. Two of them says yes right away while one of them goes off saying how happy he is to be able to join Kyoukai. She sends one more unit left and another right and says they're going.
GKHK HQ:
The GKHK HQ gets a report saying their general has been slain and that their reinforcement is currently fighting with the HSU's cavalry. The soldiers ask the lieutenant what to do while he thinks of what was going thru his general's mind. He says they don't need to sow confusion in the HQ and that they can regroup. He also tells them to not spread the news about the general dying to the others and to send the left side towards Shin and that should be enough. As he says that Akakin comes in and takes his head off. The HSU continues to fight off the Zhao and at the end of it they take over Eikyuu.
HSU HQ:
Everyone is celebrating and Bihei talks to Shin saying they were able to take Eikyuu in one day. Shin says it was only thru the help of the GHU weakening the enemy forces and Ouhon laying out the plan for them. Kyoukai agrees saying that they went all out so it was iffy and they didn't know where to attack on the cliff so if they went in blind they wouldn't have won. Shin agrees and thinks to himself that if he didn't hear the report from Ouhon then they wouldn't have won so it's their victory together. Rei says then it's because she saved Ouhon that they were able to win.
Karyoten's group celebrates too and as Banyou is about to offer his congratulations Ten says the celebration needs to stop here and asks her soldier to get a count of the remaining soldiers and asks Banyou to organize the GHU on their own. She says to tell Naki to keep an eye on the GKHK army that retreated in case they try something even if it's not likely. The remaining HSU can rest a bit before they set off again. Ten says they're going to go past Eikyuu and attack Kochou's HQ like they planned.

Kochou receives the report saying that Eikyuu has been taken. He also hears that GKHK has been slain and that the enemy is reorganizing and making their way to their HQ. The Zhao center and left wing are pushed far out so they can't help their HQ. Kochou asks for the enemy's numbers and hears that it's 3,000-5,000 but also that they're strong units. Kochou says it's a given. He orders the 5,000 soldiers that remained from the center army to make their way up north and that they'll have enough time. The idea was to send the 5,000 soldiers to meet the HSU once they make it out of the forest heading towards Kochou's HQ. However, the narration says, with Kanki's face in the picture, that this movement of the 5,000 soldiers made by Kochou will lead to Kochou's greatest weakness

Imagine Kanki waiting in the exact same forest waiting for Kochou’s central army numbers to dwindle to attack and slay Kochou…. Kanki is not solely depending on Shin alone to take Kochou’s head…. Unlike Ousen who gambled so much on new gen awakening their units, Kanki would have a better plan if he uses this opportunity to get Kochou!!
