I think that tweet of Shibashou’s horse hoof with Seika’s troops smiling is probably teasing a big Shibashou moment after this flashback, especially because it seems Shibashou already started to come alive in 790.

Shibashou dying here would be a colossal fumble. He's been hyped up since the early 500s as a major antagonist and is the final great heaven. To have him die here after all that buildup would be so trash.
This battle is probably going to either end in a defeat for Qin or a draw too.
Makes me wonder how much we're going to see of Yotanwa vs Riboku's retainers if the battle is ending soon.

I know Ousen says he can’t retreat but I think he’s just telling his men that so they’ll fight harder. I think he’s definitely retreating and we’ll see a multi-day battle. There’s no way Qin has lost over 200k soldiers in just this one day as Hara has told us will happen.

I think Zhao will lose a lot of men and commanders but Qin will be forced to retreat. Remember, this is the war where the most Qin lost their lives. Zhao will win but at a high cost that will lead to them losing in the future

Really interested to see what talk no jutsu helped RBK convince SBS that going to battle would be his best interest.
Don't think it's that easy. Any state would consider whether attacking a city of 50K warriors is worth it when they don't have any intention to fight. I'm shocked Zhao left them alone for this long.
Most of Zhao should've heard already that Sei is a king that doesn't hurt civilians well I guess Kanki ruined that lol.
