Sure, but i have fairly diverse opinions on diverse issues. With topic A i might lean left while on topic B i might lean right. Discussing with you means im gonna get called right wing, discussing with right wingers results in me being left wing or libtard or whatever. And I dont care about the labels because i dont care about ideology. I just judge shit on a case by case basis
If there is one thing you need to understand about politic, is that political visions that constituates the majorities of the conflicts in politic are usually regrouped in two main groups.. the reason is not because someone said one day that their should be a right and a left wing, its because under that layer of conflict there are
sets of values that are foundamentaly opposed.
There is two big sets :
1 - People who think humans can be or are in control of the world
2 - People who think humans are the result of the world
In category 1, you will find :
- Individualistic values
- Values that consider ultimate freedom as a goal
- All the values that consider that we can rise to greatness by the simple acts of action and will
- All the values that are conservative and that tries to take control over the evolutions of society
- All the liberal values about equality and justice
- You will often find here those in power
Etc
In category 2, you will find:
- All very progressive value
- Values that consider that we are the result of our experience, our environment and our genes
- Values that oncisder that we need to have a materialist approach to fight oppressions
- Social values in general
- You will often find here those who fight the power
Etc
The reality is that there is not 10 groups, there is only two because those values have things in common.
Not caring about those value means not caring about life itself. That's why there is no such thing as apolitical people and why most apolitical are usually rightist that ignore themself
