I guess some parties refusing to take part in an election means that it is not valid and the only way to establish a true democracy is making riots backed by foreign powers.

Among all the hundreds of supposed democracies across the globe, it's pretty rare to see a losing party not complaning about any kind of electoral fraud or interference. It's a bit ironic.
