Dude, are you serious? Communism killed around 100 million people(high estimate). Multiple dictatorships and genocides. Communism is fucking brutal.

I saw a movie about portuguese priests being tortured and random civillians being killed for converting to christianity. I don't how accurate that was, but the japanese didn't fuck around back in the day.
We needed to fight the Communist Guerrilas and removed from the gov any politician that supported those. They military did it, but they stayed way too long in power. Anyway, the military regime was one of those periods of economy boom in Brazil thnx to the military administration. It wasn't all flowers and candy, but at least we developed a lot under their administration.
That is the current gov, bro. Brazil has great relationships with Israel. It's only that is going against the tradition right now.

I've studied a lot of history. However, I was actually intrigued however by the life of William Adams, which lead me to knowing about the Portuguese exile from Japan.
I've researched Russian, Japanese, Korean, British, and Roman history primarily, with the latter three being my primary focus.

I think it is categorically unfair that ONE person would have to work for free effectively to provide for the basic needs of those who'd refuse to work.
@Okamakama
This is why we can't trust what we read online, this is bullshit:
"Adams and the other survivors were summoned to Ōsaka, where Tokugawa Ieyasu—soon to become the shogun (generalissimo) of Japan—interrogated mainly Adams about a variety of political, religious, and technological topics. Ieyasu was so impressed with Adams’s knowledge, especially of ships and shipbuilding, that he made the Englishman one of his confidants. A" https://www.britannica.com/biography/William-Adams
How the fuck did he interrogate the man if he didn't speak English? lolno, seriously how did they communicate
Why in US there is one month gap between declaring winner of elections and actually taking the office?
Transition doesn't take this much time and it's just weird to have a president to continue to be in charge for a month when people already elected a new one

I believe there were individuals in Ieyasu's retinue who were able to translate for him - OR at least do a weird translate English to Portuguese to Japanese.
I think it’s possible for Hamas to be two things at once
to the Palestinians, they are seen as a resistance org
to the Israelis, they are seen as a terrorist org
I don’t think either perspective is inherently more valid than the other. Both are true. Hamas does engage in terrorism, but also they have a legitimate grievance with Israeli occupation.

Hey @Okamakama@NAMELESS , have you heard of, and if you have then what do you think about, the issue of surplus value that is the reason why socialists say the wage system is theft?,
but Israel isn’t doing it the right way. They should have given the PA an army and had the PA fight Hamas for control of the West Bank. Instead they are trying to cleanse Gaza and probably settle it afterward.
