I'd tell you to grow up, but you haven't the capacity for self-reflection, narcissist.
Say the guy who just told an handicaped man that he needs to be humble because he doesn't contribute to society and his helped by society... therefore he can't really express loud opinions.

if some of you are getting that triggered then take a walk outside :seriously::seriously:
Nah don't worry I'm not triggered. I'm just putting things in caps and bold so that it makes more impact.

All the time. Some areas it hardly happens, others all the time. Hell, some cops only have physical encounters once every 5 years or so. There's no universal metric, but I've personally have been stabbed and shot at.
Making societies less violent are centuries of work. I followed some courses about that for the case of France.

It's centuries of work from the State to make society less violent.
Unlike what people think it's not even a matter of education.
People are sometimes massively dangerous.

I don't think that banning guns would be enough for the US.

Then genocide is whatever I decide is a genocide. It’s a international crime, you can’t call someone a murderer when they haven’t been charged of said crime

my point was made, logiko is stating it is one without even considering there’s people who think otherwise
This would be difficult to argue that something is a genocide on your very own. Massacres in Gaza being classified as a genocide is far from being a mere individual or even popular belief.

Also isn't there a warrant against Netanyahu ?

I mean you can call it a genocide, I personally think a warzone isn’t one or else we would call all of WW2 one. But to act like it’s a settled matter is what I have a problem with
I think it depends on whether or not civilians died while Hamas was being targeted vs if civilians themselves were the targets.

I think there are definitely people in Israel who want to eradicate the Palestinians. Whether that’s how the campaign was actually conducted? I don’t know the answer to that.

If you think it's not settle, then you have missed the information about the 40000 thousand Palestinians dead and the probably 100x time more injured.
So Genocide is when a lot of people die? Are we making our own definitions now?

Yea, it’s almost as if extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence

Banning guns won't solve a thing. It's culture. There's less gun violence in the red open carry states than there are in the blue gun controlled states. However, the blue cities have denser population, higher homeless rates and higher prices which are factors.

Since 1999, gun violence has decreased by 40% but gun COVERAGE in the news has increased 800% thanks to the Columbine Shooting. People are simply more exposed to gun violence now.

Lmao. Allow me to elucidate the concept of humility in this context: to show humility in your situation is to show appreciation for people like Van who actually do a valuable public service instead of shitting on them. I have no problem with society assisting individuals who cannot work, it's part of many governance systems in Europe.

What I have an issue with is a person who will twist every comment, jab at every person who disagrees, all the while playing the victim because he has a mental illness. My friend is incredibly grateful to a society that supports him - meanwhile you spit proverbial venom all day, venom that is disguised as kindness.

My issue with you is not that you have a condition. My issue with you is that you use that condition as a smokescreen to protect yourself. You act entitled. You should be grateful to people like Van who perform vital services. You should be grateful to a society that props you up and supports you. Instead you mock those people. It's sick.

I've never seen you concede a single point, talk empathetically with someone about their struggles even if you do not understand, try to understand other people's points of view. Instead you attack them. You deride them. You, quite frankly, try to dehumanise them.

If you felt any level of offense at how I spoke to you before (and surely you did, by your diatribe), then you might actually have a golden opportunity here. Instead of your so-called righteous indignation (which no doubt stems from your ego being stung), try to think about how what YOU say impacts others. Not just: "Oh, they're wrong so their anger is injust," but seriously try to see how your needling can impact other people.

I know what I said was harsh. But I think you deserved it.

Yeah, the crime of genocide relies heavily on the intent of the accused party

Rio de Janeiro started becoming a shit hole around 54 years ago. It was due to state negligence in dealing with organized crime.

There's also FAR less gun violence in European countries with relaxed gun laws. It's not guns that kill people&being armed is normal human behavior. Banning the right to self defense is what dictatorships and imperial rulers do.

Israeli army bombed a camp of refugee of hundreds to kill one member of Hamas who was supposedly under the camp in a tunnel. Wether that mofo was underground or not is irrelevant given the number of humans they're ready to kill for one man.

Modern definitions of genocide have greatly evolved with how massacres are done due to the air-force, missiles and "civilian-shields" (and more). As for the intent it's shown on Israeli live tv by their officials.

The debate around airstrikes has increased since the Obama years with the new gen of drones and even before. Is it a massacre ? It has often been portrayed as a far-lefty opinion but now that the scale is bigger it's interesting to ask ourselves wtf we're even doing with all these weapons.
