its not even made for the rich as corporations also bare the brunt of tariffs

I seriously don't get the logic behind Trump's tariffs.
No really for American based ones.

Trump is trying weaken and annex allies through economic force via tariffs. For enemies, it's to simply slow down their economies like China. Trump is trying to make America dominate the trade routes. These tariffs lead to inflation domestically which is good for the rich and government.

It's a win-win for them, a lose-lose for everyone else.

At least some democrats are starting to wake up. Zorhan might become mayor of NYC which would represent a huge shift.

inflation is not good for corporations bruh, the stock market crashing is literal proof of that.

We are also forcing them to work within the U.S, which means higher cost of doing business.

Alongside the fact that funds are fucking tanking right now, meaning the rich are hurting as well.

Trump is not serving an agenda for the rich, he's actually being an absolute retard. It has to be some ideology thing because this doesn't make sense economically speaking

I honestly dont give 2 shits until they start giving tangible results. They screwed up big time.

My guy....stock crashes are heaven sent for the rich and has been for like a century. This shit is all priced in and we literally saw the richest men standing behind Trump during his inauguration. The rich are hurting...it's mostly them selling their stocks expecting more downturn so that they can buy up more assets at a discount...again. Stock crashes have historically made the rich even richer as they have the loose money to capitalize every time.

Inflation is also good for them as they can sell assets for higher, and it always does a fusion dance with price gouging. They always make more money with inflation.

No they are not, see how many rich people lost a lot during 2009.

You are acting as if everybody shorts during stock crashes, they don't.

You mean the richest man who was literally in tears when talking about his stock prices plummeting? You are literally making my point lmao

Stock crashes have not historically made the rich richer, you are confusing downturns in the stock when you can short stocks to actual crashes where everybody goes to shit. Again, look at 2009 and the shit show it caused amongs large banks and funds.

And how will this help when their cost 3x? This is why I am telling you this inflation will not be a good thing and why their stocks are an accurate representation of the shit show Trump caused. Price gouging will be a thing if the cost increase are marginal, this aint the case.

Trust me, I do projections for a billion+ dollar company. Things are not looking good for the next 5 years.

I am obviously talking about the rich as a whole and stock crashes, not shorts. I am obviously talking about the rich when the economy recovers. I am obviously talking the results afterwards. I am obviously talking about the rich who benefit and not the few who fall behind.

The gap between the rich and the poor has always widened with stick crashes in the modern day. The 2008 housing crisis and the 2020 covid crash made them big bank.

Your argument is assuming I'm talking about the rich benefiting during a crash. They take assets at a discount and ride the wave up.

Supposedly to protect American industry and stimulate industrialization.
This go far beyond protectionism, we usually tariff some industries to incentivize u.s development (irrc we do this with auto) but this is way too generalized and harsh.

Yeah I think part of hid ideology is believing he can revive the "rust belt" which will never happen

Many are dissident from FARC. I saw this coming the moment they announced a ceasefire/deal with Farc. Wayyy to many of these petty criminals changed their lives selling drugs, weapons and stuff. It's was obvious they wouldn't want to lose their sole source of income. Only the higher ups at Farc profited from this deal. This has NOT being about ideology for a long time. The same thing happened in Brazil around 88. The guys that organized the guerrilas were pardoned and became politicians. The petty thugs refused to leave their criminal life style, cause guess what... that is the only thing they know. 80% of Rio de Janeiro is under control of organized crime these days.

Don't try to educate me on this dumb dumb. I know more than you.

Right now this is ELN more than the FARC remnants. I'm aware there was a failed ceasefire and I'm aware that they've been doing horrible shit. Contrary to what you may think I'm not a fan of Petro. He is very Trumpian in his demeanor and he is more concerned with being a hero than with actually helping the country.
