I still remember when German media explained India's strange love for Hitler and Nazis as more of a curiosity and with ''they don't really know what happened because they're from a different continent and are being misled by the Nazi's use of the swastika because it's a positive symbol in their culture".

Thoughts on robotics and automation of industrial production?

Recently, I have noticed that USA wants to bring production to their soil - not by hiring foreign labor - but by automation/robots.
Elon Musk and others have been working on this and the launch of AI Taxi will be the first step towards this automation.

While the third world focuses on industrial units, the West is moving towards automation. This is the reason why anti immigrant policies have increased, because they dont need them anymore and are slowly decreasing their numbers. Top talent will still be hired, but not laymen.

This is my analysis based on recent events. This may unfold in next 10 years, or even more.

But it is clear that industries are going toward automation.

Immigration has always been for the cheap labor. With AI and automation, they won't be needed anymore. AI doesn't need to be paid nor risk labor lawsuits. Bringing production over to the US is to keep a steady flow of jobs and avoid lower class retaliation, as lots of jobs are going to be lost when AI replaces them.

Will it make production more effective? Not really. The workers leftover would be expected to work faster than what they're capable of. A great scenario for the people in charge, same old BS for the workers.

It has its own consequences, i.e., complete control. They say future wars will be silent and fought on electronic front. China and USA is already battling over it.
Conventional wars will still be there, but drones and AI technology will be widely used. I read somewhere that in Ukraine-Russia war a new development in drone technology lasts up to 3-4 months, and one country find ways to counter it and vice versa.
The countries that have not developed their own AI models, have already been left behind.

Yeah I heard about the child labor changes. Funny thing is that the US has plenty of unemployed civilians, but they're not applying for the jobs because se the pay is trash(also because lots of the openings are fake).
