What’s the difference, really? Whether he’s smart or not, the results are the same, so why do we have to quibble over the motivation? He does imbecilic and highly dangerous things every 30 seconds, so whichever of our opinions is correct is immaterial, this shit is happening either way. The reason why there’s no chance for countering him is that we only have two parties, and both of them profit by keeping him in charge - Republicans get all the tax breaks and relaxed regulations their shriveled black hearts can handle, and Democrats get to keep fundraising for “the resistance” without taking any real actions against his administration. If we had an actual opposition force in either the judicial or legislative branches, this nightmare would have been wrapped up in early 2017, so I’m not willing to give him credit for supposedly running the table when nobody else in power is making a play to stop him.

However, Trump regardless of his stupidity is still the president of USA. World has to factor in the future dynamics with USA after Trump term ends.


This isn't 1930's world anymore - Economy takes priority over anything in this deeply linked, multi -polar globalised world.

That's shrinkflation. Companies can't be blamed for this entirely.

As production cost rises due to increase in cost of raw materials, packaging or imported goods, companies are left with only three possible choices

1) to increase the price of the commodities - hardly viable when people are already facing inflation as it will only drive people away.

2) lay off employees - comes at the cost of scaling down operations which once again doesn't serve the purpose

3) shrinkflation - shrink the size of product or reduce quantity while keeping the prices same or only marginally higher. Much better option as it helps companies accommodate rising production costs without asking consumers to pay more.



And, this isn't just McD ...many food chains across USA are already doing it.

Capitalism is a system of domination and exploitation. This means that we can predict and prepare for specific kind of potentialities beyond just project 25. A war with an old allied country in Europe because of a fascistic push and a switch in the balance of geopolitics would be one of them.
