What’s the difference, really? Whether he’s smart or not, the results are the same, so why do we have to quibble over the motivation? He does imbecilic and highly dangerous things every 30 seconds, so whichever of our opinions is correct is immaterial, this shit is happening either way. The reason why there’s no chance for countering him is that we only have two parties, and both of them profit by keeping him in charge - Republicans get all the tax breaks and relaxed regulations their shriveled black hearts can handle, and Democrats get to keep fundraising for “the resistance” without taking any real actions against his administration. If we had an actual opposition force in either the judicial or legislative branches, this nightmare would have been wrapped up in early 2017, so I’m not willing to give him credit for supposedly running the table when nobody else in power is making a play to stop him.
There is the difference:
- Expecting an ignorant reactionnary to make mistake pushes us to have a specific strategy.
- Expecting a smart fascist to make certain politics will pushes us to adopt a different one.
The entire difference between our mindset and yours is that we have a clearer idea of what he will do next. Not only because he follows the step of project 25, but because we understand (rather some people much more knowledgable than me) understand how capitalism shapes fascism and work with the different system of domination.
- When some will wait for him to apply the next project 25 bullet points of his advisers, others will be already preparing for the moment when he will start to fire on opponents, not just to prevent crime but to shut down any opposition.
- When some will be trying to fight the next anticonstitutionnal laws that he is making, other will be already peparing for armed fighting and start to devopp underground networks of communication to fight back against his future milicias.
> Taking Trump for a fool implies a vision of his reign as a glitch in the capitalist system.
> Taking Trump for who he really is implies the understanding that the guy is a PERFECT product of capitalism and white supremacy.
Yes, you are underestimating Trump. But I'm also telling you that you are underestimating fascism and capitalism as well.
I'm not trying to scare people to create a sideration, but to wake up your politicization so you can spread the word sooner than later.
This is not a glitch. This is not a moron in power. This is capitalism at work.

Trump is not playing any 4D chess. This guy is just dumb.
He can't even keep conversation he has with leaders a secret. His statements are getting crazier day by day.
But yes...he's definitely a narcissist but a dumb one.

I'm telling you guys that nothing that Trump will do is unknown or somehow mysterious. We know what he will do, we know where these politics are heading and we know that him and his governement have to be taken very seriously if we (or rather, US citizen in this case) want to fight him with efficiency. We just don't know the extent and the damage that it will cause.
There is no 3D chess, it's a race to stop him before its REALLY too late.

(not talking here about all antifa, just venting about a big bunch of them)
