Aye definitely, I've tried to ignore this thread and their posts for my own sake/mental health generally but with the way things are playing out these days, including in my own country, I can't just keep watching everything slowly burn down and the world going to hell unironically.
As much as I hate it, I know I'm gonna have to get more politically involved IRL somehow, the UK is so violent towards peaceful protestors just like other countries and I've genuinely seen disabled people in wheelchairs get carried off by several police officers, even up to 6 or 7 and a a very young autistic girl also having police barge into her home and arrest her for something she posted online or something like that, I think she was only 14 or so? Maybe 15? Poor girl was traumatised and terrified naturally.
I have no idea what she posted but I know that will traumatise an autistic person for life easily and prevent them from ever living a more "normal/happier" life too. They will always live in fear of moments like that. I've worked with autistic adults who were still deeply traumatised from what happened in their childhood, to the point they were completely terrified of noises, of talking, trusting others etc. Hell I know from being one of those people myself too.
Oh god I looked it up, it was because she said a policewoman looked her lesbian grandmother too....she was arrested for that lol.....meanwhile my extremely abusive, violent neighbour who repeatedly threatened multiple people that he would kill them on the spot and wanted set his dogs to maul them to death got NOTHING, not even a slap on the wrist LMAO! He even laid hands on them, almost throwing a potentially pregnant girl down to the ground and constantly chasing her around the street like a true predator! This fucking country I swear....I have to laugh otherwise I'll just cry.
Also, said neighbour who has a history of abusive behaviour, threatening others, targeting non-white and elderly people especially, but also disabled people, children and anyone else who isn't a straight white male! He sucks up to them and tries to act he's their BFFs automatically and spouts racist shit whilst crying out loud that he's not racist lmao. Fun fact, he went around telling people I tried to slaughter his doves he kept as pets by feeding them curry (I'm Indian, oh no I'm "woke!") when I was feeding them for him on my own choice, as I love animals and his doves would visit me in my garden constantly so I fed them for him out of my own pocket (not literally, I bought tons of bird seed for them very regularly) and he was HAPPY with that according to his reaction when he spoke to me about it, but then told other people I was trying to kill his doves with curry, it really just begs belief LMAO!
He always conveniently gets far more "braver", more violent/aggressive and threatening when facing far more vulnerable people than him, especially non-white people. Surely it must be coincidence, reich? I mean right?
