It's my personal belief that heart is meant to pump blood, or the heart is really and actually meant to pump blood?

Or that eyes are meant to see?
:lulz:
Projecting meaning onto any phenomenon is subjective

You can say that eyes typically see and that an eye that cannot see is a disability for the given person.

But saying that an eye is meant to see presumes a meaning, one that you created.
[automerge]1759292485[/automerge]
And the thing is, we’re not talking about eyes. An eye that cannot see or a heart that cannot pump is a biological impairment.

Being sexually attracted to men is simply an aspect of personality. You can’t even say it hinders reproduction as gay men still have biological kids via surrogates.

Obviously, because it is lying

Immoral deed can never justify a good end

You can say "There are Jews in this town, perhaps in that other house", or "I saw them in that outhouse earlier (knowing they are not there anymore, but this would still be a factual statement)".

But lying is evil so it would be evil there to. Although it would be reduced culpability because of extreme circumstance
Are you repeating Jordan Peterson's nonsense? Seems so. The religious view point on immorality is pretty weird.

Obviously, lying to prevent a bigger bad is absolutely moral. Just as killing Nazis to prevent their evil doing was moral. What the heck are we even talking about.

To everyone who is angry at gouvernments because they put us on lockdown in 2020 or don't understand why we need to take vaccine..

Allow me to show you this video. I think it would be constructive for you to watch it at least until the 12 min mark.

This should make you understand the danger of a pandemy

Leviticus 20:13

"If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death; their blood is upon them."
Btw Leviticus is the levitical law, the law of the Levites, a tribe of Israel, that were speicifcally priests, they had no inheritance because thei Lord was their inheritance, those laws are specifically for the ancient tribes of Israel, not a guideline for behaving today

Deuteronomy 10:9

“Wherefore Levi hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren; the LORD is his inheritance, according as the LORD thy God promised him.”

.

Deuteronomy 18:1-2

The priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and his inheritance.

2
Therefore shall they have no inheritance among their brethren: the LORD is their inheritance, as he hath said unto them.

Titus 2:11-14

11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

.

For people outside and now, there is grace, but that wasn't tolerated within Israel at the time, and every guideline that Israel had, lead to the Christ being born, and saving many people freely for around 2000 years now, whoever asks

You know what's crazy now that I'm thinking about it

@Logiko @Mathias

Priests from some churches later in history opressed people and acted as part of the ruling class

But when God ordained priests in his country, he said they have no inheritance with the rest of the country, he is their inheritance, and they will eat what is offered to him

So if the eye is blind, is that a defect of the eye?

is the truth conditional then? if you could justify lying "when it's worth it" here, why can't anyone just lie anytime it is perceivably for the greater good
:DeepThink:

no, this scenario is emotionally gripping, but why does it entail lying? you can stay silent or say something unrelated in resistance to unjust demand

Good point but please get out of this thread to preserve your sanity
it is a dogshit point

this is the logic evil people use to justify things "But it's for the greater good!!"

if something can have a biological impairment, that implies a normatively or it being "for" or intended for something.

"Eyes having a purpose" is me projecting, you say in one breath, and then you use language such as "impairment" which necessarily entails a purpose that in the case of blindness, is not fufilled

9. Gaza will be governed under the temporary transitional governance of a technocratic, apolitical Palestinian committee, responsible for delivering the day-to-day running of public services and municipalities for the people in Gaza. This committee will be made up of qualified Palestinians and international experts, with oversight and supervision by a new international transitional body, the “Board of Peace,” which will be headed and chaired by President Donald J Trump, with other members and heads of State to be announced, including Former Prime Minister Tony Blair. This body will set the framework and handle the funding for the redevelopment of Gaza until such time as the Palestinian Authority has completed its reform program, as outlined in various proposals, including President Trump’s peace plan in 2020 and the Saudi-French proposal, and can securely and effectively take back control of Gaza. This body will call on best international standards to create modern and efficient governance that serves the people of Gaza and is conducive to attracting investment.
Tldr:
1)Trumpy Bunny wants to own other people's land. We already knew this.
2)Gaza going to be run by foreign investors and governments AND...
3)"""'qualified""" Palestinians *wink wink*

10. A Trump economic development plan to rebuild and energize Gaza will be created by convening a panel of experts who have helped birth some of the thriving modern miracle cities in the Middle East. Many thoughtful investment proposals and exciting development ideas have been crafted by well-meaning international groups, and will be considered to synthesize the security and governance frameworks to attract and facilitate these investments that will create jobs, opportunity, and hope for future Gaza.
=Gaza Riviera scheme

15. The United States will work with Arab and international partners to develop a temporary International Stabilization Force (ISF) to immediately deploy in Gaza. The ISF will train and provide support to vetted Palestinian police forces in Gaza, and will consult with Jordan and Egypt who have extensive experience in this field. This force will be the long-term internal security solution
Tldr: a foreign armed occupation force will march into Gaza

16. Israel will not occupy or annex Gaza. As the ISF establishes control and stability, the [Israeli military] will withdraw based on standards, milestones, and timeframes linked to demilitarization that will be agreed upon between the [Israeli military], ISF, the guarantors, and the Unites States, with the objective of a secure Gaza that no longer poses a threat to Israel, Egypt, or its citizens. Practically, the [Israeli military] will progressively hand over the Gaza territory it occupies to the ISF according to an agreement they will make with the transitional authority until they are withdrawn completely from Gaza, save for a security perimeter presence that will remain until Gaza is properly secure from any resurgent terror threat.
Tldr: the Palestinians won't get to decide anything

19. While Gaza re-development advances and when the PA reform program is faithfully carried out, the conditions may finally be in place for a credible pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood, which we recognize as the aspiration of the Palestinian people.
"Do what we want and MAYBE you'll get your own state"

What you all think about Trump's 20 points plan to end the war?
Was looking at news this morning, and saw a headline that Donald Trump and Tony Blair are going to be on the board governing Gaza.

Normally I'd think it's the Onion, but even The Onion can't come up with something this absurd. Tony FUCKING Blair on the Board of Peace :risiflip:

You say this but at the end of the day you listen to Graham Hancock.

Where do you live that they still sell pencils with lead?!

He's a bot or someone's alt account
What is your obsession with Graham Hancock? I've looked his stuff up a few times, he's fairly legit, some gaps, like most people.

If you really want to research this stuff (which you don't), Tesla is the best stepping stone.

Tesla was the closest publicly known scientist to recreating what the Pyramids were built for, and recreated a lot of that technology.

Then go look at who ended up with all his notes/tech.

Yeah lol

I was surprised to see that technocratic Palestinian commitee will be supervised by Board of peace which will have Trump and Blair....

Basically, it's like giving indirect Gaza control to Israel because both Trump and Blair are very close to Israel.

What's more shocking is that Arab World is backing this plan... seriously? They gonna trust Trump of all people? Lmao

Well, it seems Hamas is cornered. If they accept it then it means Board of Peace will have control with no Hamas member to be part of governance...and, if they reject it, then it means pissing Trump off who already received support from Arab World.

"About the same time a like quarrel raged in Russia, and its cause was this. There were in Russia 20 million serfs. For generations past they had been under the rule, or rather the birch-rod, of their owners. They were flogged for tilling their soil badly, flogged for want of cleanliness in their households, flogged for imperfect weaving of their cloth, flogged for not sooner marrying their boys and girls – flogged for everything. Slavishness, improvidence, were their reputed characteristics.

Now came the Utopists and asked nothing short of the following: Complete liberation of the serfs; immediate abolition of any obligation of the serf towards the lord. More than that: immediate abolition of the lord’s jurisdiction and his abandonment of all the affairs upon which he formerly judged, to peasants’ tribunals elected by the peasants and judging, not in accordance with law which they do not know, but with their unwritten customs. Such was the unpractical scheme of the unpractical camp. It was treated as a mere folly by practical people.

But happily enough there was by that time in Russia a good deal of unpracticalness in the air, and it was maintained by the unpracticalness of the peasants, who revolted with sticks against guns, and refused to submit, notwithstanding the massacres, and thus enforced the unpractical state of mind to such a degree as to permit the unpractical camp to force the Tsar to sign their scheme – still mutilated to some extent. The most practical people hastened to flee away from Russia, that they might not have their throats cut a few days after the promulgation of that unpractical scheme.

But everything went on quite smoothly, notwithstanding the many blunders still committed by practical people. These slaves who were reputed improvident, selfish brutes, and so on, displayed such good sense, such an organising capacity as to surpass the expectations of even the most unpractical Utopists; and in three years after the Emancipation the general physiognomy of the villages had completely changed. The slaves were becoming Men!

The Utopists won the battle. They proved that they were the really practical people, and that those who pretended to be practical were imbeciles. And the only regret expressed now by all who know the Russian peasantry is, that too many concessions were made to those practical imbeciles and narrow-minded egotists: that the advice of the left wing of the unpractical camp was not followed in full."

Page 3232, time for three epic quotes:

"I cannot remember a night so dark as to have hindered the coming day '

"Holiness does not consist in mystic speculations, enthusiastic fervours, or uncommanded austerities; it consists in thinking as God thinks, and willing as God wills."

"No man, with a man's heart in him, gets far on his way without some bitter, soul-searching disappointment. - Happy he who is brave enough to push on another stage of the journey, and rest where there are "living springs of water, and three-score and ten palms." "

- John Brown, abolitionist
