One of my semi-frequent dinner guests that my wife and I host is a LGBT-Advocate, Pro-Migrant activist. Yet even she has insinuated such things (which you can see in the subtext). Familial restrictions are more of an environmentalist thing from my experience, as people believe the following logic:

We shouldn't be having kids since the planet doesn't have enough resources and we're killing it > We still need some kids > Only those who can 'afford it' should have kids, ergo, the poor shouldn't have children.

Indeed, this belief system is the direct path toward fascism as a form of domination at the intersection between class domination and eugenism. Marxists tend to argue that overpopulation is in direct corrolation with accumulation tendancies linked to capitalism. Basically trying to reduce population under capitalism can only lead to a form of class / racial / ableist / sexist selection that will eventually lead up toward a form of genocide.
