Character Discussion Gorosei

#5
I think they're kind of victims of some poor writing. They're just grouped together so much, very little differentiates them. We see them all go out together in one arc without really having proper 1v1s, which is honestly going to create some bias, as compared to Yonko/Admiral like characters who are very different, and were introduced in isolated situations. Saturn is really the one who was separating himself, and obviously he died in his "intro" arc, which is a bit unfortunate. I do want to see them in the present time again though.

It was also a bit interesting, in the flashback they seemed to have some discomfort with the trick Imu was playing on Harald.

Oda made extremely dumb decision to introduce all 5 of them at Egghead . They performed pretty badly , they got stalled easily so the hype is not there anymore. But yes more impressive than Holy Knights which aint much to be honest .

BM-Kaido split the clouds, Luffy-Kaido split the clouds... in the same arc Oda shows us the two greatest pirates to exist, established in chapter 957 where Xebec got hyped by Sengoku.

The only other time in the series, Oda drew something like that was with Warcury. To make it obvious the man even used the same trees he used for the island in Roger-Newgate clash:

Warcury's Haki was so strong that it was knocking out some trained soldiers on the ships surrounding the Island. DR Xebec's Haki, didn't knock a single soul out, even the weak fodder civilians.

So yes, it's as good as DR Xebec, if not greater. Y'all just don't want to admit it, cause it's the Gorosei rather than some edgy looking pirate.

You don't seem to realize the significance of a solo skysplit. The only other character to do it was Joyboy lol
Warcury doing a Conq infused roar where his DF takes at least half the credit for it isn't as impressive as DR Xebec knocking down Roger and Garp at the same time and splitting the skies by himself.

Not sure what this counters for what I said.

Cloudsplits can't happen if the sky isn't covered fully with clouds... hence Newgate-Roger didn't have a "Sky split", but cloud dispersion, in the same arc that had two cloudsplits. In Egghead, Oda used the cloud dispersion for Warcury early on, and saved the "cloud split" moment for Joyboy's reveal.

His DF takes the credit for his Conqueror's Haki? lmao what?? His DF is the reason mfs away from the island were getting knocked out by conqueror's Haki??
