I think when he becomed angry and serious Roger was more dangerous the PrimeBeard.

I remember back when people thought a fight between Roger and Whitebeard would be a 30 day affair, lol

Roger is trash but he was always trash tbh. He was always designed as just Luffy 1.0. Oda’s best pirate was always Whitebeard, until Wano when Oda utterly ruined Whitebeard’s character and now his best pirate is Blackbeard.

??? When does Luffy act like Roger. This guy was reading maps and all kinds of shit. What are you talking about? Luffy would of slept through that whole conversation

He did'nt really give away that god-like aura like Whitebeard did at the start of MF. He looks just like another top tier out there. He lacks a moment like this

Except the "He laughed", which is legendary.
Maybe that's exactly what Oda intended of the character tho

Roger's problem in the flashback is the same as Whitebeard and Kaido. One word: Oden.
Oda wanted to wank Oden so much that he forgot that this mf was just a last minute addition to the story and didn't do enough justice to the characters that really matter, Roger, WB and Kaido.
The flashback was almost useless. Should have kept it to Wano and skipped the parts outside. Focus more on his relationship with Orochi and Kaido and draw a better fight between Oden and Kaido.
