Questions & Mysteries How did Mihawk make a black blade and Roger couldn't??

Wrong how.
He went to fight whitebeard
Literally says he's got a theory that wb isn't as strong as everyone thinks he is
Tests him
Loses interest
Chases luffy instead
How does WB showing 0 interest in Mihawk’s attack, and having it get easily blocked by his 3rd strongest subordinate show that WB has become weaker than him?

A few observation people would know straight how much Strong the other person is.
- "Luffy saying someone strong has come in egghead"

Mihawk could have easily gauged it and let him be. There's no honor in fighting a weak opponent.

Let me get this straight.

Oldbeard not even lifting a finger to block Mihawk’s slash, not even showing any interest in it at all in fact, and having his 3rd strongest commander block it without much issues somehow shows Mihawk that Oldbeard is much weaker than him?

Make it make sense.
Yes, because he needed Jozu to protect him.

You have a fully understand the scene. Mihawk wasn't there to kill WB nor did he care whether Ace lived or died. Unlike the admirals who were actually trying to kill WB, Mihawk was testing WB because he was the first one to notice WB grew weaker. That was the purpose to his statement prior to attacking.

Mihawk saw WB need protection from his attack. Oda didn't just have anybody protect him. He had the crew member with the strongest defense protect him from a nameless hakiless attack. Jozu can turn his body into diamond one in a harder substance in the manga. Just because he might be the second or third strongest member of the crew doesn't make his diamond defense any weaker.

WB didn’t show the slightest bit of concern. Not even a single drop of sweat.

If WB was really so weak that he had no answer to Kizaru’s and Mihawk’s attacks, you’d think that Marco and Jozu would show a bit of concern. Instead, they acted like those attacks weren’t worthy of a response from WB

If I had one of the strongest defense in the world protecting me from attacks I wouldn't be concerned either.

YC are there to protect their yonko. Crew members being there to protect their captain is nothing new. Marco and Jozu were confident in their ability to protect WB from the attacks they encountered so they wouldn't need to be concerned.

Mihawk wasn't there to kill WB like the admirals. He wanted to test WB's strength because he believed WB grew weaker and he got his. That was the purpose to the dialogue before he attacked.

Ok, and how does Jozu block his attack show Mihawk that WB had grown weaker?

Your argument would make sense if WB was sweating a little bit because of the attack, seemed shocked by it, or showed some sign of concern. But he didn’t. In fact, WB smirked at the attack. Nothing in that scene would have indicated to Mihawk that WB had become a lot weaker

I’m going to leave this here and judge for yourself as we know Roger/WB wouldn’t stand a chance against Ryuma.

Ryuma, the sword god had the same eye and chest scar as Zoro who got it from Mihawk. Reyleigh also got it so he likely has challenged him at one point in his prime and got it from him.

This led me to believe Mihawk got the WSS title from Ryuma. There’s also clearly some demonic rituals involved in regards to the eye which likely came from Mihawk (we know Zoro got it from him).

As far as we know Zoro making Enma into a black blade will have taken Oden and Zoro both putting immense Haki into it. Not just 1 person.

We don't know about Yoru or Shusuis history enough to come to any conclusions other than guesses.

Haki plays a key role, but not the only role.

You mean, your afraid someone has better Haki than Roger?? And that would spoil a lot of your headcanon? So you said "forging a black blade doesn't require one person but multiple"?? Makes no sense.. Mihawk Haki was just strong that's all

Lol only sword swallowers are interested in black blades. Mihawk has 0 feats for his name to be taken in the same sentence as Roger. Nobody cares about Lihawk, everyone cares about Roger.
Black blade is nothing.

Mihawk fought stronger enemies than roger, this is how his haki grow to be able to make a black blade.
Oda will reveal soon that mihawk fought 5 xebecs at the same time.
