Speculations How did Roger end up on god valley?

#1
Celestial dragons were there to play their unholy hunting game, marines including garp may have been there to protect the CDs. Xebec and his holy army may have planned an attack to get hold of devil fruits and/or free the slaves. But how the f did Roger and his band of thugs end up on god valley at the same time?

I think Xebec went there to recruit some of the slaves, kinda like Blackbeard breaking into Impel Down to recruit prisoners, and likewise, I think Roger was there to be rescue an enslaved crewmate/friend, similar to Luffy trying to rescue an imprisoned Ace.

It isn't that far fetched. The Roger Pirates sailed for 13 years before reaching Lodestar and 14 more years before finally reaching the One Piece. Roger could've visited many islands in all the four blues between his Grand Line's voyages (including after finding the One Piece, as he lived at least one more year and traveled to the South Blue to meet Rouge).

The God Valley Incident happened just a year after he reached the "end" of the Grand Line (Lodestar).

No im just talking about him following logs. Thats only a Grand Line thing, unless we are talking about Eternal Poses

The difference is log poses only work in the grand line. For the blues you do traditional navigation.

Maybe both he and Rocks were looking for Poneglyphs there?
