Future Events How strong will the world government be in the final war?

The Current strength of the WG is already much higher than the combined forces of the Yonkou. This is an organization that's been ruling the world for centuries. Compared to that the Yonkou system looks like a school project that's getting dropped after some years.

Nah, Oda usually goes for visually impressive and imitating in his serious antagonists, Imu looks weaker than Aisa.
To be fair, Blackbeard also does not fit that stereotype, but at least with him you have an excuse, he is supposed to resemble a realistic pirate.

I think Marines, whether before or during the war, will have a splitting though.
It´s obvious Oda is building up a reasonable faction and absolute justice faction, the former will need to stay around after the war.
So i can see Aokiji, Fuji, Ryu, Smoker, Coby and so forth fighting for the former.
To be fair, Blackbeard also does not fit that stereotype, but at least with him you have an excuse, he is supposed to resemble a realistic pirate.

I mean they can be fighters but not as strong as admirals while also being just as annoying to fight.
Imu could very well just have insane conquerors haki such that his conquerors coating is so strong he’s untouchable or he has other abilities.
The Gorosei are going to fight the rest of the EB5 and Sabo as they more than likely stand for the five precepts of Buddhism:
1. No War - Sabo the soldier
2. No Stealing - Nami the thief
3. No Bearing False Witness - Usopp the liar
4. No sexual misconduct - Sanji the Pervert
5. No Intoxication - Zoro the Alcoholic
I believe each of these five will have prior fights before the Gorosei so they’ll already be weakened anyways.
