You wish Teach was like Ousen, playing 5D chess and only fight battles he can definitely win?
Reality:
- He got game over in Impel Down had Shiryu didn't save his ass back then
- He went home from Amazon Lily bringing nothing but Coby, which in the end only triggered the wrath of Garp. If Garp had an OP DF, people would think it is all Teach's lure all along, but Garp doesn't have any DF.
Ousen would have gathered information about the abilities of Magellan, or the possibility of Rayleigh saving the Kuja Pirates.

List of Luffy's pathetic showings:
- almost killed by Arlong, drowned to death, if the villager didn't save him
- got captured by Buggy in Loguetown only to get saved by thunder
- got captured by Smoker in Loguetown only to get saved by Dragon
- lost to Crocodile, the kinda loser who ran from New World and hide in Alabasta, not 1 but 2 times
- only won against Lucci because of Usopp's distraction
- fainted against Hody Jones
- got captured by Caesar
- only won against Doffy with help of people worth 1 village
- captured by Enraged Army although tbf it's because of Sanji's betrayal
- got one shotted by Kaido
- not acknowledged as Yonko level by Rob Lucci
They didn't have any connection. Shiryu was always stationed in Impel Down even before he got locked up, and it was Teach's first visit to ID.
Nobody in OP verse is Ousen level. OP folks at best only have CoO aka Color of Observation, Ousen has only 1 in the world CoOu Color of Ousen.

I guess Blackbeard will leave the fight to help his crew, since Garp will cause havoc there, so the fight will be "postponed" from Blackbeards side.
So Law wont be taken out of the whole picture, but portrayed as not being able to win yet against blackbeard. Kid will win his fight on the other hand, so he gets more pushed into direction of Luffy.

He failed to gain anything from that fake boa hancock confrontation Oda baited us so if he:
1) Fails to make any use of Koby
2) Fails to steal Law's poneglyphs and make Pudding see through them, poneglyphs are worthless if you don't have the means to decipher he can gain all four and that wont matter
3) Fails to gain anything from the coming Garp clash, with Koby being actually likely to gain some delevopment instead in some way
Count me out. We are in the final saga, Blackbeard always looks like an underdog in a confrontation but what made him great is that he always gained something from such situations except Jaya. So I have some hope left still.

If BB fails then that means Oda is planning something bigger for BB, he probably wanted to show Law's crew how powerful they are in sea battle he couldn't show that in Wano. And also showed BB's Haki that he can stop Law's awakening attacks which negs your favs Haki.
No matter how much you cry BB is awarded as bigger bounty than 2 Yonko, and only one who can stop Luffy's Nika power via darkness and made Imu cry just like he makes ZKK fanboys like you cry thats the final villain for sure.
BB probably offscreens Law and in the meanwhile Garp will get hyped the hell up and solo's BB crew on Fullalead.
Then BB get's back and it will be BB vs Garp and BB's hype will go even further beyond (some triple awakening bullshit) and he defeats Garp. And Garp will make some comments BB is even stronger than Roger and Whitebeard in their prime or some shit and must be Rocks D Xebec reincarnated.
So when Luffy defeats BB it will be clear he's gone beyond Roger.
