Speculations If Luffy gets KO by Kaido again (4th time), should Zoro become the captain instead?

Should Zoro take over then?

You are comparing apples to oranges.
This is the 3rd time luffy fighting kaido.
Zoro fighting Kaido the first time and giving him a scar is better than Luffy getting KO 1 shot by thunder bagua the first time.
No, it's not better at all.

Thunder Bagua is still the strongest attack seen until now from Kaido, and is a speed burst attack as well.
Nothing comparable to trying to hit casually with a normal club hit against Zoro where he didn't take him seriously at all (didn't try to dodge, neither used the Thunder Bagua from the start and neither is using his top speed since Luffy without gears could battle him and we later will see how he will fight Luffy with Gears in speed as well).

If you are trying to justify how Luffy getting 1 shot by Kaido the first time and got sent to Udon is a better feat than Zoro meeting Kaido the first time and giving him a 2nd scar, please don't @ me.

I would enjoy this conservation if my IQ were lower.

You really still trying to justify how Luffy getting 1 shot by Kaido the first time and got sent to Udon is a better feat than Zoro meeting Kaido the first time and giving him a 2nd scar. 😂😂😂
The feat doesn't matter, what matters is how Kaido acted in both situations.
Jinbei and Robin made Big Mom rolling away while Luffy was deflated from his G4 form in a clash. Robin and Jinbei displayed better than Luffy, so their feat is better but Luffy destroys Robin and Jinbei in a second, so what's the point? We know that they displayed better because BM didn't take them seriously.

That's why I said that I can't expect something minimally intelligent from someone who doesn't know how to read and understand the whole situation.

Me leaving a long scar on your body > me getting one shot by you
Logic is not hard, but apparent it is when you are a blind purple swordsman.
I am tempted to @ you on a new post just to let people bury you alive.

No need to bury him, he buried himself under tons of Zoro hate. :yasu:
By far the dumbest thing i have heard in this forum is someone trying to argue that luffy getting 1 shot by Kaido the first time > Zoro's ashura scar on Kaido the first time.

@Finalbeta @mly90 @Chocolatemuppet @ShishioIsBack @Fenaker Please help me understand this man.

Read the posts above. Apparently @PurpleSwordsman thinks that Luffy getting 1 shot by Kaido's thunder bagua during their 1st meeting > Zoro's ashura scar feat on Kaido during their 1st meeting. :milaugh:

That argument is so redundant. I concur.

Zoro prominently relies on lethality and not on mass force like Luffy, meant as F = m*a thus the fact he didn't push him to kneel doesn't implicate he didn't deal the most damage.

Your frustration is understandable.
Personally I like Luffy as the MC, and I think the majority of the readers do as well.
As a zoro fan, suppose if zoro got KO'ed 3 times by Kaido without any significant damage done to Kaido, I would be first to clown zoro's ass.
Ridiculous outcomes warrant for ridiculous memes.
Except Luffy did the most damage on Kaido so far... which is laughable to bring this topic
And I know you’ll use the “scar” to refute that when we actually know Luffy NEVER made any scar on his arc opponents anyway... maybe except Bellamy Lmao
But yeah that’s how Luffy rolls... his fist, punches and damage hurt the vitals and the insides mostly

also my statement is back up by non other than Kaido himself who admitted only to Luffy alone! That he enjoyed his fight with him since a long time (referring to Oden)...
Only Luffy got that praise, non of other supernova, non of scabbards

I don’t believe a forth defeat would happen especially since we are 90+ chapters in the arc tho I wouldn’t mind it.... Luffy is fighting the strongest character in OP. I don’t blame him lol. Next rematch should be the final fight.

On topic, No Zoro shouldn’t and can’t be the captain of the crew... he is yet to prove he can lead a crew or anyone tbh as well as being weaker than Luffy not to mention no one in the crew would accept him as the captain when Luffy is still around. Might as well if Zoro is salty just leave the crew, but we know it won’t happen. Zoro first hand witnessed Kaido’s strength so he is gonna suck it up and try motivate his captain to not give up(not that Luffy would actually do that).

This post is purely speculative, and is not meant to make fun of luffy.
Truth is, he has been made fun of plentifully lately.
From a charismatic perspective, Luffy is still a better captain at leading and winning people's heart (friends or foes).
But at some point, you gotta wonder how many L's are too many for the future PK captain before his fighting ability will be questioned.

Maybe the fate of the future pirate king is not only to lose to Kaido the 4th time, but to lose to his role to the vice-captain 🙄
Nah, Zoro is more of a conqueror than a leader. Even if for fun, I like Zoro being Luffy's firstmate more than Zoro being Luffy's boss.

Besides, Zoro is in a unique position in the pirating world which he shared only with Mihawk and Rayleigh: captain of none, but top tiers all the same.

And despite so he claimed he would have taken over had Luffy "been left too behind"

Zoro does not follow Luffy because Luffy is stronger than him. He follows Luffy because he believes in him.

What @Ace said:
Zoro would never want to be captain

If he lost faith in Luffy he would just leave
