Majority will say it's the BBP's yet the one who took half his face and punched a hole in his chest was Akainu.

Both Saturn and kiz went after VP in last chapter while Sanji was trying to save him. I see this an indication from oda that VP injuries were still treatable.



Thus, for me, it's kiz who should get the credit coz he finished him off (if vp is dead)

I think it was pretty obvious that Whitebeard wouldn't survive losing half his face, even Oda probably thought he wouldn't have to clarify.

And doesn't change what I said, nowhere was it stated that Whitebeard was going to die from Akainu's attack, whereas the opposite is true for Saturna and Vegapunk.

Refer to what I said previously, people have survived such injuries in the real world, there are people who only have half a brain.

The same old man with cancer that took an entire sword through his heart and shrugged it off like nothing? That alone is a fatal injury that he shrugged off, he took it and then also went on to take hundreds of other attacks.
