if blackbeard was going to be defeated first, then oda would be focusing on blackbeard now and imu later. Completely opposite. All focus is on celestial dragons for past 3 arcs. Had all 5 gorosei on egghead, and now holy knights and imu. People thought elbaf would be a "shanks and blackbeard" arc and yet its just another celestial dragon arc. We are in the imu saga and oda wants to get imu out of the way before we move on to different things

The difference is we’re not even focusing on Imu. We’re focusing on Gunko who’s Imus avatar for now.

We know literally nothing about actual Imu. Not even his design.

We are, he blew up an island, we know he wants to flood the world, its literally him speaking through gunko, its just the design, and by the time the design is revealed the fight happens right away. Hes been building up to imu constantly, thats why oda keeps harping on about joyboy this and that. goroseis been fully revealed, holy knights revealed, regen weakness getting exposed, all set up for imu and gorosei to be destroyed the next arc to finalise this imu saga. Once imu is defeated the joyboy narrative is no longer relevent, blackbeard wont even mention it.


While oda continues to build the conflict between luffy and imu, blackbeard hasn't even killed shanks yet. Shanks being a figarland means hes relevent to the imu saga, so oda cant even get rid of shanks until the celestial dragon saga is finished first

Final poneglyph plot should be at lodestar and at least 3/4 will get it in different times BB will reach laughtale through other methods
Imo Shanks final fight is either his dad or his brother but I can see him helping against BB since he is going to be the final villain for everyone in laughtale

The final glyph isn’t at lodestar tho and we already have Gaban nearly confirmed as the Man Marked by Flames
