Look at the damage caused by Luffy when he first fought Kaido, a shit ton of buildings were destroyed. Yet he was one shoted by Kaido who didn't destroy anything.
Destroying some buildings or even an island won't grant you the victory.

But limiting your power so as to not cause unwanted destruction can cause defeat. Without Momo luffy wouldn’t have been able to use Bajrang Gun, would he have been able to win without that? No.

Luffy and Kizaru can both fly so it doesn't matter much
The rest of the SHs can fight their respective VAs on their own battleship.

So if Luffy wasn’t able to use Bajrang Gun in Wano because Momo couldn’t move Onigashima out of the way and using Bajrang Gun would kill everyone inside due to the bombs, that’s not a nerf?

If Luffy was below and Kaido was up, Luffy could use Bairang Gun without anyone moving the island.
Same for Kizaru, shoot upwards instead of downwards and there is no limiting whatsoever.

The fight was 10 days. The terraforming probably was much quicker.

Kizaru canonically cannot do anything to harm the factories which means he’ll have to hold back from causing unnecessary destruction with his fruit which is a major nerf.

He won't hold back. Luffy won't use Bajrung Gun either but he still will go all out

That's not what they mean. Egghead is highly precious to the WG and any destruction of the Island is a loss for them. Kizaru mentions it in the chapter.

Actually no. Losing mother flame and the source to power a weapon that can erase an Island without a trace is > Kizaru who is replaceable.
