Break Week Is scarring someone meaningless if the person doesnt really acknowledge it

I mean weve had crazy scar moments within the series.

- Mihawk scarrring Zoro
- Akainu scarring Luffy
- Oden scarring Kaido
Etc

But all of those people at the end of the day took serious damage before the wound became a scar. They aknowledged the wound and some even got ptsd and fear from it.

However Zoro scarring Kaido's case. Kaido only acknowledges the wound in terms of it scarring him. He doesnt seem like hes in pain, he doesnt seem to have more interest in Zoro. The wound heals itself within one chap, without Kaido needing medical aid. The scar itself is ambysmally small.

Sure Zoro got a great feat for scarring. He did leave a permanent mark on Kaido. However I do not think he made Kaido's health lvl go down much. More than the scabbards, but I see AdvCoC Luffy probably done far more damage to Kaido in the long run.

Scarring someone in general is noteworthy. I just think Zoro's feat was a low tier one when it comes to the scarring spectrum and is overrated due to how powerful other scarring moments were in the series.

Is it though? When Zoro scarred him Kaido actually acknowledged him as a genuine threat and said the scar would remain for the rest of his life, I'm not really sure how that's less noteworthy than other scarrings we've seen before?

You can see Zoro's scar caused Kaido actual pain because he was cursing right after it happened, looking at his wound and grimacing.

It's also a recency bias thing--since Zoro scarred Kaido everyone has gotten much stronger and we've seen everyone going all out. At the time of Zoro scarring Kaido, he had 30+ broken bones and hadn't even awakened King of Hell mode yet. At that point in time it was a crazy feat and it's the first time since Oden

Zoro's scar also led to Kaido lamenting the fact that the Supernovas weren't on his side

Kaido being in shock and shivering, as he points out Zoro has conqueror's Haki too. And that was a Zoro with his skeleton shattered and using a very crude and clumsy version of CoC, even more so than Luffy's in 1010, which itself was called crude and clumsy by Kaido.

King of Hell Asura from a healthy Zoro would've been at least as fatal as Togen Totsuka.

Only Zorocucks see it as an impressive feat.

Much smaller than Oden's scar.

Kaido pretty much lol'd at it then went fo Zoro that's enough for you weakling can't you see it's your captain who I'm interested in before sending Zori flying with Law

It's quite pathetic compared to Oden's scar, not only is it visibly less impressive but Kaido hasn't actually gave a single fuck about it since it happened, Oden's scar gave Kaido PTSD twenty years later, Kaido's all but forgotten Zoro's scar at this point.
Quite impressive for the fact Zoro did it with a crushed skeleton and Haoshoku much weaker than his King of Hell version; scarring Kaido while the Zoro hating cocksplats didn't even expect Zoro to get to the roof top, and when he did, claiming he won't even reopen Kaido's existing scar.

That's cool but I never asked.

Zoro's scar is both significantly smaller than Oden's and had a massively smaller effect on Kaido mentally.
