I never understood why some think having FS makes you untouchable when Luffy hit Katakuri a several times before he obtained FS or used snakeman.

Zoro can still hit Luffy. Especially with his arsenal of techniques.

Katakuri switched from relying mostly on FS to relying mostly on awakening to deal with boundman because of the power Luffy possess in that mode.

Katakuri couldn't afford to take many hits from boundman Luffy and using awakening gave him the best chances of avoiding Luffy's attacks.
