General & Others It is impossible for Big Mom to win

for whatever reason, a lot of people are clinging on to this idea that despite everything, Linlin will somehow triumph over kid and law. Not only would this result in the death of every single member of the alliance, this would fly in the face of every single precedent we've seen so far.

In one piece, extreme diff battles are quite rare. They are usually reserved for Luffy and occasionally zoro(albeit zoro is often pushed to his limits more by situation than in an actual vs battle. In an extreme diff battle, it usually has the antagonist dominating for much of the fight with the protagonist(usually Luffy) ultimately winning by surpassing his limits and becoming stronger.

To this day, I cannot think of a single extreme diff battle that Oda has shown on screen in which the protagonist loses. When characters lose, they are mostly stomped. Kaido utterly destroyed Luffy in act 1, he utterly destroyed the scabbards on the rooftop, ect. This absolutely isn't what is happening with big mom. Even before Kid and Law recovered from being beat, Linlin was already panting and exhausted. She even said as much. Not to mention her face is still messed up from taking awakened attacks and the fact she had to sacrifice lifespan for a power up.

Kid and Law aren't the only ones who are being pushed, up to this point, it has been a high diff fight for Linlin. What this means is that Kid and Law are basically 1 power up away from winning. This power up could totally be simply them having better control of their DFs, as Law's attack seemed to do more damage this chapter and Kid didn't even need awakening to do serious damage to linlin. Or they could have a haki bloom, which would be more than justified given their resolve and the difficulty of the battle.

In any case, not only does plot demand that big mom lose(or else everyone dies), but precedent falls strongly on the side of Kid and Law. This would be like Luffy loses to Lucci or him losing to Katakuri. Yeah their opponents were stronger, but Luffy surpassed his limits. So too will Kid and Law.

BM sacrificed years of her life and cant put Kid and Trafalgar down for good, she is a joke, it would make no sense if bm wins rn looking at the huge plot armor both trafalgar and kid have.
Trafalgar got zenkai boost and now is many time more powerfull than donquixote kekflamingo. The damage he does to bm is also many time greater than the damage bm does to him.

There is also zero point in drawing or dragging out this fight for nearly 30 chapters if she was not meant to lose. Her children got fodderized by Marco into irrelevancy, and whether they come back or not, they'll be put in their place. Perospero lost exactly like Jack did. Oven is about to lose in a cover story lol.

You don't give a fight 8-10 scenes over the course of 30 chapters, tease Kid's victory in 1029, then title a Vs chapter (of which it hasn't ended yet), only to have to all end in Big Mom's favor.

Sure, I get people disliking their fight because it's barely been shown and the damage against her isn't "super" impressive artistically, but that has zero bearing on her winning or losing.

I'd say give it 1039/1040 before judging, if Oda isn't changing scenes (again....)

There's no reason for BM to win plotwise.

She is the secondary villain of Vs Yonko saga, while Law and Kid are the secondary supernovas, so to me makes a lot of sense for her to be defeated by them, before the main character takes the main boss of the Saga.

She already had a big loss in WCI arc that left her emperor position weakend with her main crewmates being defeated by Luffy, the leftovers of her crew were taken out by Marco, her only crewmate in the war was already beaten, she already is using a lot of her "final powers" like making Hera, using this "flame hair mode" and even using her own lifespan to enter this buffed form she is now, and as have been said since Marineford, the New Generation will bring the down the old powers, and of the Emperors BM is the one with most of the plots already solved.

Some people can be angry that Kid and Law vs BM isnt happening in the way theirs headcanon thinked would happen with the supernovas sturggling more to beat her, but that doesnt change the fact that plotwise her defeat is the next in line to happen.

And of course is kind logic that Oda follow the order in defeats.
F6->Jack&Peros->King&Queen->BM->Kaido
