Chopper has more connection with the minks. He saved them from Jack's poison gas back then. He has a crush with that female reindeer mink. He bonded with Carrot in WCI.
It only makes sense for mink tribe's hero, Chopper, to face Jack, mink tribe's nightmare.

Jack would use Chopper as dildo if they ever clash

I'll just copy-paste what i posted on the chapter thread

Early days and till it is somewhat confirmed by the VIZ fans but still, we finally get a glimmer as to why the Calamities and Tobi Roppo could be loyal to Kaidou. Before this it seemed that being under anyone else ( any other Yonkou) would be preferable since staying with Kaidou leaves one vulnerable to his drunken whims and a crew hierarchy where everyone has to look for out for themselves and keep getting stronger or else.

Now, it looks like Kaidou on some level does appreciate the worth of his subordinates and won't just discard them aside. Him waiting while Jack and his team faced off against the Sulong Minks could be read as him being arrogant and letting Jack and co. weaken his enemies OR it could also be read as him in a way respecting and trusting that his Calamity Jack was able to handle the minks and leaving him to deal with it. Until he could not anymore.

And I just get the feeling that Oda is rather fond of the little failure of a fuzzball that is Jack the Drought. Him going up against the odds and getting beat down again and again and yet keeps on grinding away, kinda appeals to Oda I think. He isn't going to be one-shotting Admirals or the like, but Oda gives him manly losses without making him lose face and his final defeat will be a respectable one.

On top of that, we really haven't seen his Fishman based powers either. I'm sure that's how he sank two out of 4 navy escort ships under the watch of Sengoku, Fujitora and Tsuru, and not by lobbing cannonballs while the latter three sat back and enjoyed the show.

i really hope king and queen are as loyal as him

Queen's 'overdramaticness' aside, he was pretty loyal to Kaidou back in Udon. While the fodders were already thinking of cutting deals and switching sides to Big Mom, Queen got up and proclaimed ,"This is Kaidou's turf!" and thought up a countermeasure that against all odds, succeeded in capturing BM and sparing Udon from destruction.

Jack's backstory could be interesting indeed. Out of all the Calamities he's been featured the longest. And as others have pointed out, it feels like Jack could be Kaidou's spiritual successor in some manner. Even his silhouette resembles Kaidou the most out of the Calamities.

Jack is a fantastic character, the most Loyal YC we've seen so far. I just love his willingness to throw away his life for his captain, it reminds me a lot of zoro.

Jack was just scared of Kaido's punishment.

I don't know why but I would see him perfectly in the Mad Max verse lol. Anyway he lacks honor for gassing the furries, lacks brain for charging mindlessly but it is undeniable that he never backs down no matter the odds, at least I should give him this.

Chopper vs Jack is a great idea. Now that Oda confirmed Sanji is finished as character after Totto Land Arc,the goddamn fishman is the only obstacle in Chopper's way to his full potential. Chopper defeat Jack is the perfect way for him surpass the goddamn fishman.

It would be unfair towards Jinbei if he had to fight against a weakened calamity, since he is basically the third strongest member of the SH after Zoro and Luffy so he at least deserves a caliber that has full power

Dude Bring a character Bar Yonko who can defeat former Fleet admiral and Admiral
- The man took his squad to a military country full of latent fighter , battle against them
for 5 days straight non-stop while those country militants where resting and battling out against him.
- Again brought a small squad and fought against Sulong minks , managed to reduce their No to zero defeating all Sulongs Guardians and Musketters ,then even went on to fight against Minks kings who were buff in Sulongs

And Yet you call Jack a weak🤣🤣🤣.

The fact that people used to bash Jack by saying he won becoz of chemical weapon can shut of after this chapter

Jack > Sulong Kings (1 vs 1 ) , 2 vs 1 is too much even for Jack

I said the weakest Calamity, not that he was weak.

Jack Is probably Best YC if you compare about loyality and determention, but he always get L, he will recover and fight again, so many hints about Zoan healing ability, and ancient + awaken...

It's entirely within possibility for Chopper to defeat Jack.
The swords may represent a problem but Chopper may be durable enough in Monster Point.
We have yet to see what Jack's hybrid has to offer and how his CoA is to make full judgement.
Either way, Monster Point shouldnt be underestimated.

For sure. We already knew jack would get crushed here. Hyping the minks is just damage control.

Jacks level itself is too weak to even be relevant to any of the main cast. He was relegated to being dealt with the sidekick’s sidekicks.

He hasn't used hybrid yet, he's definitely coming back to get dealt with again by someone like Jinbe maybe. 2 back to back losses is pretty harsh though.
