Nobara's injuries are a routine fix in the real world let alone with CT. A competent neurotrauma unit would get her up and running within a few weeks. Gojo will return but not necessarily incarnate. He will gloat over Sukuna when Sukuna goes down.
Nobara is an easy win. Carrot for nakama is a harder fight. Carrot will team up later.

if you dont even know common sense in the real world you wont understand it in JJK, this is warping nobara's soul and distorting her body this isnt a little gunshot wound or anything like that, meanwhile with Shoko's own admission she is unable to reverse ITs effects and it's why she told Nanami directly to just kill anyone who has been effected by Mahito 'cause their is no saving them...
If Nanami and Todo were barely able to survive with Nanami only doing so by subconsciously guarding his soul and Todo survived cause he sacrificed a limb.

his plan was never to adapt to inifinity it was to take Unlimited Void out of play cause due to Sukunas own admission it would be too much of. pain to deal with....
imagine if he didnt have maho how that would've played out, Sukuna was never able to use Kamino after the first domain clash, even if he was it was still insufficient against Gojo cause its fresh Gojo the same guy who was tanking Malevolent Shrine for upwards of 10-15 minutes with RCT, FB and SD...
just look at Shibuya and what it did there there was virtually nothing left.. evn then inside the domains Gojo>Sukuna this was highlighted even the fact that we learned Gojos CT>Sukunas

Just like only JJK would still argue Sukuna wouldn't beat Gojo without 10S and that their idol got multiple things wrong.

He needs either binding vow or 10S to one up his opponents.
Sukuna is strong, but what makes him the strongest is his sneaky, cunning, and creative nature.

being "nerfed" would apply to a Bleach fight like Ichigo vs Byakuya or against Aizen and/or Ywach....
just cause your favorite daddy got bodied so badly by Goatjo doesn't mean he's nerfed it means he was fucked up so badly that he's not superhuman and is also a fish upon a cutting board...
