Are we really discussing a straightforward title, implying being the strongest on earth, the "World strongest creature"? 
Even more, are we discussing this taking into account fighting with the full team of Oden retainers, full health and with the boost of a 20 years awaiting just for revenge, for that moment in the raid night, versus fighting the survivors of Oden's retainers, still recovering, without Sulong, with Momo ordering them to step back, without the same motivation?
I mean, Kaido had an initial PTSD in seeing them able to cut him, but from there he just exterminated them, they're alive only because Law moved them elsewhere and Hyori later healed them.

In his Two Piece world, any opponent any Admiral faces, no matter what, is always at full power and always going all out. And all Admirals are always holding back and toying with their opponents. Anything that makes them look bad he'll say it doesn't because of some bullshit reason. Anything that makes any Yonko look bad at all is always proof that Admirals beat Yonkos.

It's just a dumb exaggerated scene by Oda to market the movie. With Greenbull being an evil fascist who actively kills civilians for not siding with the government, Oda had no problem with treating his character this way. However him using "redhair pirates", "you guys" & "not yet" are indications that his powerlevel is untouched.
Yeah I mean it had to be done after all the humiliation the yonko got from being reduced to an offroad to a bowling bowl, then you got Goofy playing jump rope with Crydo, who was at some point crying because Big Meme lost her fight. Jump to recent chapters we have yonko Buggy begging to clean the boots of his commanders, and just 2 days ago a prime yonko avoided confrontation with near dead Rayleigh. So yeah having 1 goofy admiral was predictable at least. That said he's still the biggest chad post-ts.
