We know he was WSM and warded off the Marines from Wano. We already know Zoro will never be the former, and nothing bat an Admiral is worth sending and dont see Zoro beating any Admiral right now.

There could be other legends we dont know abt, but making up new stuff right before Zoro can replicate it chapters later legit feels like bad writing to me. Oda likes to set things up 100s of chapters in advanced. There is no more cathartic narrative conclusion than tieing ZKK to a manga that predates OP.
This is a good point, Oda will probably prefer a homage to his one shot and to foreshadowing since Thriller Bark than something pulled out of his ass now, but I will wait to see more context to what Ryuma and the Shimotsuki clan's exploits and role was during their respective timeline and in what way is that meant to affect the story now
Sanji is the one delt with Meme in WCI and still had a fraction of Luffy's bounty.

Like every arc before this one, the captain is the who get the lion share of the blame.
This is not a convincing argument, Sanji didn't do nearly enough when compared to Luffy in that arc and Luffy had the benefit of Morgans gassing him up. The whole Germa saga took a backseat after they were deemed as fodder trash by BM herself who was after their tech more than anything. Sanji's bounty or infamy isn't warranted enough to be even nearly comparable to Luffy's just because of him being involved as a Vinsmoke in that arc.

It's by no means comparable to the feat of killing a Yonko, mainly in terms of gaining infamy and also seeing an increase in bounty. Luffy doing the lion's share doesn't mean much if a sensationalized coup de grace of the strongest creature in the world is witnessed by everyone.

Yes the narrator is wrong.
It was later revealed by Hawkins it was a set up by apoo
And kaido knew who was below and wanted to ask them to join him
But you know this you're just gonna act retarded for the sake of it.
the narrator can't be wrong
he jumped knowing that he made a plan with apoo and knowing that he's allied with doffy to start a war
that's why he says there's no choice but to go through with the plan

It's a fact he's wrong
Hawkins outright says to Law apoo had set them all up
And kaido instantly tells them to join him
Kaido knew they were there.
It wasn't an actual suicide attempt.

he attempted that knowing that he isnt gonna die from that.
his dream is that to create a massive world wide war and die like whitebeard or roger so that he is remembered for centuries to come. (unlike his captain).
why would he genuinely attempt something that could kill him and deprive him of his dream?
he acts disappointed when he doesn't die. he jumped with the intention to die.

narrator is the conduit of the story, he's all knowing and has knowledge of everything that is happening, happened and will happen in the story.
kaido attempted suicide fully knowing that he not only made a plan with Apoo but also allied with Doflamingo to start the war. that's basically what he says when survives - "I survived so I guess I'll go through with the plan"

no, he was disappointed that all he felt was a headache.
and when he said there's no choice but to go through with his plan, he meant his plan with joker regarding smiles and the war.
why would he choose to kill himself then when he's planning to start a war?

his dream is to create a massive world wide war and die like whitebeard or roger so that he is remembered for centuries to come. (unlike his captain).
everything else he does is a means to this.
smiles, ancient weapons, the alliance with big mom, one piece etc.
we see big mom, luffy openly claim that they wanna get to the one piece and become the king of the pirates.
but kaido has never once said that he wants to be the king of the pirates. all he wants is to die in a legendary manner for which people will remember him and finding the one piece and starting the great war that whitebeard prophesized is a means to that goal.
