Katakuri too couldn't dodge Snakeman when he couldn't "see" where the attacks are coming from; it's not exclusive to Luffy. FS precog allows you to see the attacks coming your way in advance so you can act accordingly to react. You can't do any of that without actually knowing where and how the attack is coming at you.
This has nothing to do with having superior FS or PIS. Luffy's FS is just as good as Katakuri but his usage isn't as good because FS isn't as involved in his fighting style... That doesn't make his FS shit or plot dependent. People just can't accept the idea of someone without FS having enough skills to work around FS, so they just say Luffy's FS is shit every time someone is able to defy FS to keep future sight's "invulnerable ability" status intact, which is far from being true.

Lol, what? I don't really dislike the character but a lot of people hate the character for good reasons actually. Oda did a 180 on about everything we were told about Katakuri as a character. That has never happened to any major antagonist we've seen so far in the series, not to the same degree at least. His battle prowess is the main reason why he's getting as much praise as he does; otherwise, there isn't much going on for him to warrant the love he gets.
