The point of the mask is so the BP fodder don’t sell him out the minute he’s away from Kaidos territory. They clearly know King is arbel, but the general populace don’t know because if they did it would be a lot more trouble for king to do anything away from Kaido.

I took it as more of “help us recapture him without engaging an emperor.” Kind of vibes. Weve been shown since pre timeskip that the Marines avoid fighting the emperors because of the amounts of losses.
So by putting out a “if you see him report it” about any Lunarian they’re not only able to see when King isn’t near Kaido and can send someone to capture him but also maybe find any other lunarians.
Saying that they don’t recognize the sword wielding fire thrower with large black wings when Marco and Big Mom both did instantly just seems like way too much of a stretch.

Are you sure , they are the only ones that escape ?
And lunarian traits isnt only tied on having wings

Bounty are so over the place....no one can take the bounty seriously in a fight.
Oda used it for some many different reason (even trolling) that is just zzzzzz
They are not update to the current threat of the characters.....you get people with a much higher bounty than the top 5 on the rooftop just to let you know.
And yes King would have a higher bounty but Oda like to play with numbers to give a bounty.....

Even if the World Government magically cannot figure out that the obvious Lunarian is in fact a Lunarian, King's bounty is still supposed to be based on his overall ability and threat level.
So it should not matter whether the World Government thinks King's abilities come from being a Lunarian or a devil fruit, his abilities are still his abilities regardless of their origin.
