Damn, wishing this was canon. Kuma telling Mihawk that he wants to cure his daughter while Mihawk guides him to the castle library which has medical books, realising that Kuma’s ‘tyrant’ label is just government propaganda. Please Oda make this a thing.
What do you guys think about the relationship between Kuma and Mihawk? Mihawk was the only warlord shown not saying anything in response to Kuma joining the group; not even his thought process or inner monologue is shown. Kuma was also not shown interacting with anyone on Kuraigana island despite it being one of the places he searched for Bonney’s cure. Kuraigana is/was a deserted, war-torn ruined kingdom, so why was Kuma there? Did he ask Mihawk specifically for help or did he seek out Mihawk for a different reason (a connection to the Celestial Dragons, perhaps?) Kuma’s cross not only resembles Yoru, but the special ‘don!’ sfx used when introducing Mihawk. Could this have anything to do with it?
