I think people have really imagined a scenario where Luffy "needs" to escape properly without winning first. Its not like didnt defeat other enemies while escaping in past arcs (see Kata).

Imo, even if Kizaru and Saturn are the only real fights this arc, I do see them losing properly before they "escape" from the Buster Call or some other danger set by the island (maybe destroying the mother flame factory causes it to nuclear or something)

Exactly thats why I think its an AR situation that will play a factor with G5. The OP really is talking about Luffy fighting both with its assistance, but this is actually the first part of this idea since you need to technically have Luffy fight both first before the Robot shows up.

Like right now I half expect Kizaru and Saturn to be too overwhelming to deal with together and there will be some extension of help coming via the giants or AR at least.
