Don' understand that point

Forging a black blade is forging a black blade

forging Yoru black and forging Shusui black should be the same level of difficulty
Forging a Supreme Grade Kokuto is superior.

How high you raise a Blade will depend on the wielder, thats something Oden's father verbally said to Zoro.

Zoro has 2 Great Grade & 1 Grade Blade. He will turn 3 of them into Supreme when he forges them into Black Blades f.ex.

When you are World champion then others seek to challenge you....

World champion don't go around challenging others.

Mihawk is no different
This is cap.

The first time Mihawk met Shanks in the manga it was Shanks that asked if Mihawk wanted a rematch. Meaning that the WSS lost the last bout (to pre-chapter 1 shanks) and he was wondering if he wanted to try again.

So yes, his title probably was given by people that saw that Shanks lost a arm and just assumed that Mihawk was better. Just like they look at how Buggy is the face of Cross Guild and assume he is better than croc and mihawk.

In other words: fraud

If Mihawk went to Wano then he'd have been beaten by Kaido and Kaido probably would've broken his will, forcing him to become a subordinate, like he was going to do to Luffy, that's probably why Oda didn't have Mihawk go there.

1 Why does Kaido stab Olen in the back and then talk about honor? 2 Why did White Beard leave Auden boiling in the cauldron and not save his friend's country, which had been in slavery for 20 years?. 3 Why didn't Dragon go to save Ginny?. 4 Why Roger and Garp saved tenrubito, even though these creatures literally torture and rape people. 5 Zoro post ts > Any swordsman vano. Why would Mihawk invade Yonko's territory alone to fight with Kinemon?

He didn't, he just blackened a sword that was already one or two levels above Shusui.
Proof? We dont know what level Yoru or Shusui were before they became Kokutos.
And for all of Ryuma's hype, he forged an inferior Kokuto compared to what Mihawk did.

How high a sword rises after blackening depends directly on the person who does it. Zoro will turn Great Grade blades Wado/Enma & Grade blade Sandai into Supreme Grade Black Blades.

Higher the rank the harder the sword to control.
There's no mention of this, as a matter of fact child Zoro and Kuina were able to easily use the Wado Ichimonji despite it being on par with Enma.

As Mihawk states black swords go up one rank, so we can infer that Yoru used to be either first or second grade, while Shisui, which is now second grade as a black sword, used to be third grade before blackening.

Where? He never said that. He simply said any sword can become a Black Blade.

Oden's father told us that a rank of a blade might increase when it becomes black depending on Zoro/The wielder.
You're right I was wrong, it was Oden's father. But I don't think all blades can be turned into supreme grade, you probably can't improve a great grade and an unnamed sword the same way. What you said would only make sense if Yoru were a third grade sword before going black, which I highly doubt.

Because they are weak.
Oden who had enma as a kid left it needing PRIME ODEN haki when zoro has it.

Nah my point is different. Im saying the rank of the blade at the end of it, depends solely on the person who turns it into black.

Zoro will make 2 great grade blades and 1 grade blade, all 3 into supreme grade black blades imo.
If Mihawk made Shusui black, it'll still be a supreme grade blade and if Ryuma made Yoru black, it'll still be atmost a great grade black blade.

We have no idea if Mihawk went to Wano or not. For someone to claim he didn't go to Wano his headcannon.

Mihawk could have went to Wano looking to fight Oden. Find out he was dead and left because there was no more worthy swordsman alive for him to challenge. Days after Oden was executed the rest of the strong samurai were either killed or imprisoned by Kaido.

A Wano citizen not mentioning Mihawk doesn't mean anything. Why would they talk about Mihawk when they would be more concerned about where to get fresh food and water from and whether they will live through the night. No citizen talks about Kaido vs Moria fight so why would they talk about Mihawk that has no effect on their daily lives. They wouldn't.

If Mihawk was in Wano at some point in the story how do some of you expect a conversation about him to go? I can see it now, two random Wano citizens talking about Kaido and how they hate what he's done to their country. Then one randomly starts talking about how years ago a mysterious swordsman (Mihawk) showed up to fight Oden. After he he found out Oden was dead beat a few weak swordsman and then left upset.
:milaugh:
If he did go Kaido was unimpressed

That's possible but it is headcanon, you shouldn't use it in powerscaling Mihawk vs Ryuma. Also your theory would take out of the picture something important like blacksmithing.

I agree its headcanon but i do think it has supporting evidence. The entire Meito classification is based on the real life Meito system, and coincidentally the number of Supreme Grade blades were increased from 12 to 15. I think Zoro will make that happen here.

We'll see though, as far as this debate is concerned - i do give Mihawk the benefit of doubt over Ryuma specifically because of the difference in grades of their blades.

Too irrelevant for Oda to think about it.
Logically there should be at least some story between Mihawk the no.1 swordsman in the world and Wano a country known for strong samurai aka swordsman. Oda just doesn't thought about it lol.

The more surprising is that.........Mihawk doesn't talk about the blackblade Shusui or Ryuma, the guy that even Zoro heard about it.....
It's either Oda would deliver all these doubts again in future when we get to focus on Mihawk OR
Oda continue to put him irrelevant for the story and was only there for Zoro to topple him.

That's very interesting, I had no idea the system really existed! From Wiki I can't understand if the 3 additions were swords or swordsmiths.
