Show me who labelled Shanks as a swordsman in the manga, there isn't a single mention or not even Shanks himself sees himself as a swordsman, he or no one called himself as a swordsman.

WB's weapon is classified as a sword. And WB >>>>>>>>>> mihawk for a very big margin, they weren't even in the same level while Shanks challenges WB and people sees them as same levels.

The definitions are all over the place.
WB swinging his sword also aids in creating quakes, and he can use it as defense, doesnt that make him the best when using a sword as well?
And BM used napoleon in one hand and zeus or prometheus on the other, now attacked Kaidou with it, isnt she the best with teh sword as well?

It would be no difference if he uses a stick. You just said WB would be still powerful without sword, Fujitora would be the same with a stick or a club.

I'll give the most serious answer to this dumbass question.
Marco has the flames of regeneration, not the flames of immunity, and his body still has to absorb any damage he receives. We've seen Garp one-punch him into the ground, that's because dealing a single powerful blow on Marco is more effective on him than using weak attacks of high frequency because his rapid healing will never let those attacks to accumulate, but we know he still gets hit by them. To simply put it, if someone cut Marco's head off with one swing, it would get cut off and would be it; I don't think his df allows him to recover form dying. Mihawk does have the ability to 1-shot Marco, and given how the guy prefers do directly fly through any attacks coming his way instead of evading them, he'd get 1-sliced straight into a coffin

The databook says that Vista's swordsmanship is on par with Mihawk's swordsmanship, with Vista admitting that he is weaker anyways. That is actually the best proof to show, that the WSS title is not only about the swordsmanship technique. Since Vista's swordsmanship = Vista's but Mihawk > Vista.

Kuina also said that in the long run, she won't be able to compete with men because of her inferior physical strength.

You guys are talking about swordsmanship title, and now you're bullshitting on ''it's just swordsmanship is on par with mihawk'' thing?

Zoro novel clearly mentions that WGS is not absolute and people like DR Zoro and Vista considered to be as WGS.

WGS is a shitty title that no one cares about, it has no meaning.

If mihawk was a top tier, marco wouldn't send Vista alone to fight with mihawk, plain and simple.

Jokes aside.... Mihawk might be Posthawk but he is still top tier....so yeah he mid diffs Marco.....only people who can one shot YC1 are Kaido/Bigmom/Akainu

Man. Don't be so slow witted. Databook says, Vista's swordskill is comparable to Mihawk. But swordskill alone doesn't make you the stronger swordsman, because physical strength, speed and Haki also plays into account massively. Hence the Databook also said that Mihawk is stronger, even though their swordskill is comparable.

Vivre card clearly stated, that Mihawk stands at the top and waits for a swordsman that surpasses Shanks. Doesn't matter whether the swordsman has a DF power or not.



The moment Fujitora was labelled a swordsman, was the moment he went under Mihawk.
Whitebeard and Big Mom however, are not swordsmen. As soon as WB is portrayed as one, the WSS title becomes obsolete.

It's either marco is an idiot, he doesn't realize mihawk is a top tier and sends Vista alone to fight with him, or you guys have no idea about mihawk's power level and WGS doesn't apply to power levels.

Zoro novel states that DR Zoro and Vista can be WGS.

It clearly says WGS has nothing to do with power levels. Anyone with a brain knows that Vista and DR Zoro are not top tiers.

What’s worse? Getting stalemated by a Vista, or losing a fight to pre-DF Teach?

Shanks is not top tier, he and Base Teach are comparable in strength.

Mihawk is stronger than Shanks which makes him top tier.
