You’re acting like swinging a sword is the only means of fighting against someone who has a sword. One piece isn’t that clear cut lol. WSS equals better ‘swordsman’ than anyone else. Doesn’t automatically make you stronger than anyone else who wields a sword.

Look I’m not contesting he’s the WSS, but be logical, that doesn’t automatically mean be beats Shanks just because of their prior. There’s no way based off portrayal, hype, and just the story in general that Mihawk is stronger than any Yonko.

Shanks is a swordsman, in a fight Mihawk would beat him otherwise he wouldn't be WSS

He didn't try against Vista? Possible, but same goes for Vista, he was literally smiling while clashing with Mihawk for several chapters. Also Mihawk wasn't distracted apart for a few panels, the fight went on for a lot of chapters.
The one with Crocodile was a small clash yeah but still stopped him from targeting Luffy, seen how he completely disappeared after that, do you think Kaido would be stopped by Crocodile?

He was the first one to notice Jozu but that was after he threw the slash also Daz bones could block his move aimed at Luffy then after he tried to cut him he did it.

Crocodile tried to sneak attack him but got blocked by Mihawk also Mihawk got his response fate is on Luffy s side and decided to stop going after him.

So it took WB to go fight the entire Marine HQ for Kaido to fancy his chance at killing him?

WB was out on sea, Kaido could have came and fought him at any time, WB wasn't hiding in an isolated country, holding millions of people as hostage.

Kaido was the one hiding. Not WB who sailed freely around the NW

Hiding? Last time I checked, when Ace came to Wano, Kaido was sailing around. Kaido is the one who challenged both Yonko and navy as the introduction said. Single handedly. With the navy saying Kaido proved his status by strength alone.
