I do think the ending was a kind of underwhelming but I can understand why Hori wanted to quickly wrap it up.

He still needs to wrap up the other remaining fights and also because Hori's health hasn't been that great lately, he probably wants to finish the story as quickly as possible.

Regardless of how the fight ended, I still really enjoyed this whole Todoroki Family subplot.

Dabi should have been dealt with by Rei and Endeavour especially. Have all the family witness including Shoto but have Rei and Enji bear the burden of their mistakes and redeem themselves with him, with Enji dying imo and Rei surviving but with burns and thus karmic irony.

I wouldn't want the Todorokis to become orphans but I do feel Enji should have died at least, as much as I like him as a "hero".

In some ways I kinda expected Rei to go out with freezing her and Dabi permanently in an embrace, "cooling him down permanently" and "failing to save him before" when he incinerated himself to ashes pretty much accidentally.
Nah, Shoto should have been the one to defeat Toya. He is the hero of the family.

Rei, despite having a strong quirk, never had the type of training Shoto had. It had to be him.

Subpar ending for the Todoroki family plot line, the objectively best written plot line in the series.
You are very generous.

"Could've been the best-written plot line in the series".

You shouldn't give it a pass because it had a good start.

This bullshit should've been finished 1st war. Right now it's like some TV show desperately hiring back some old actor who was popular 20 years ago hoping for nostalgia fans to dive in.

I stopped reading this shitty show as soon as it was introduced that deku would have 7 powers, back in that school mini arc.

MHA has always been a naruto ripoff to the point where even the ending will be as bad lol

Without those powers, Deku wouldn't be able to take on someone like Shigaraki.

No MHA is not a Naruto ripoff, not everything is a Naruto ripoff.:seriously:

A manga can sometimes take inspirations from another series, that doesn't mean that manga is ripping off that series.

Hori made the enemy broken so the hero had ti be broken as well

Tbh this is author having to go bonkers power wise due not being careful.

There was no need for Shiggy to get equal to AM power without any quirks. And on top of that, he got a completely unexplained hand mutation power too.

Hori drove himself into a corner and shot himself in the foot.

This happens in every shonen
Luffy currently has all 3 advanced haki forms and G5....

.....and he's yet to face Blackbeard or Imu.

expect the same thing to happen in OP.

MHA is clearly more inspired by American comics than Naruto. It has similarities to Naruto, but that's mostly because they're in the same magazine.

Deku is basically Shazam with a bit of Spiderman mixed in.

Shazam: Teenage boy is bestowed the powers of 6 ancient heroes

In OP at least we have tons of enemies so one can see digest the power leaps.
Years ago the emperor looked as the ultimate power now it looks more intricated.

In MHA well there's only one so the silly power leaps are notable.
