Waiting 3 years for him seems like a long time though. She had a lifetime gig with TNT back in 2015 as their main sideline reporter (also for CNN) basically evrryone there liked her but she wanted more power (aka hosting a show) and joined ESPN which is what she got but as she found out in the past yr so is that ESPN is way more corporate than how TNT operates and they basically treated her nothing more than an asset

issue is that Lakers FO think they can get a max free agent next year. Hields contract runs for multiple years so would affect this plan
