but that being said, they are a horrible matchup for the Knicks assuming both make the ECF. Pistons are now battle tested and up against Mitchell/Harden who have been poor playoff performers the last 6 yrs...

It gonna be a good series. Pistons in 6

4 for Durant
8 for LeBron

all in all, decent for Banchero with 2. unfortunately his team (or lack thereof due to injury has let him down again

he was supposed to get fired at the end of the play-in but the Magic blew out the Hornets to claim the 8th Seed. Would have kept his job if he didn't lose G7 last night lol

Wemby was insane defensive wise but you can’t be that bad in offense.
He was that afraid to score in the paint and tried way too many 3s

Didnt understand why the coach didn’t call a time out in the end

I don’t think Gobert ate Wemby at all this game

he played well, secured good offensive rebounds but didn’t shut down Wemby. It was more Wemby losing himself and not trying than Gobert being monstrous (Gobert was still good)

Wemby impact on Defense was greater this game than Gobert impact

But yeah overall Gobert is making statements after statements during these playoffs
Good for him, he was disrespected for nothing

If that’s the case, props to Gobert for the boogeyman effect (same as Wemby from the other side)

But the rare cases when Wemby indeed went in the paint he didn’t do bad against Gobert and even scored.

and Gobert wasn’t there during all game, and Wemby still ran away from the paint

it was maybe a strategy to attract Gobert far from the paint for others to drive.

I don’t know but overall it was bad

Reaves is just coming back and is disastrous

Lebron is solid and Smart/ Rui / Ayton can help but it’s not enough against OKC

with everyone top shape it would have been hard but now ….
