I already addressed the g5 thing, it’s a different case when it comes to Gaban. He knows Joyboy lore, and just got confirmation that Luffy is indeed the fated child. That will put his mind at ease because he knows somehow, someway, things will resolve by itself. It’s like Dumbledore having faith in Harry or some shit, that doesn’t mean that Dumbledore thinks Harry is stronger than Voldemort in a fight.

Meh it's whatever overall. Bottom line is that in regards to being a SH, Loki is too strong, whether he's stronger than Sanji or Luffy.

Except for yamato and bonney and now Loki, hardly anyone ever had a decent case to be considered as nakama. Narrative was clear for the rest

Even Bonney's case took a dent the moment her real df abilities surfaced (Nika 2.0)

Tbh, we got only two actual nakama candidates (based on context and narrative) since TS - Yamato and Loki.

Based on character and personality, Loki is the best inclusion

1) Yamato -introduced near end arc, and given invite like vivi. luffy rejected her first. so don't see her join.
2) Loki elbaf just started, early invite looks positive.
3) Bonney -vega punk entrusted luffy to take care of bonney, possible she stays with luffy or remains on elbaf with lilith to repair her father.
4) Carrot-forced her way, then left to be the queen.
5) Kyros wtf
6) Tashigi wtf
7) Smoker wtf
8) Law he had a crew when he got invited. so i don't see this happening. though if oda goes 13 sh, and law recent lost his crew. possible later with 13 theory.
9) Viola wtf
10) Kinemon no
11) Stussy no
12) Rebecca wtf
13) Pudding lol no
13) Momonosuke he is like vivi, and has to run a country,
14) Tama, friend luffy met in wano to help and save, she got adopted by her horse mom.


only loki looks like the real candidate, all the rest where side character with no proper invite like loki or had luffy interest.

Loki is the new seating spot for luffy, just like the merry.

I don't recall luffy sitting on other giants except loki atm. Showing Luffy favoritism towards loki only.

You actually highlighted the biggest deal here - it's not size or wings dynamics which is a problem- it's Loki's pride or ego.

Loki will only follow someone who not only accepts him but is also strong enough to look upto. (Xebec flashback)

Loki believes he's Nika who will liberate the World.

But what if he realize he isn't one - and it's Luffy who's Nika. This realization on Loki's part either after Luffy stops/fights him or Luffy does something which Loki believes only Nika can do is enough to make Loki follow Luffy.

4) Loki simply cannot become the captain of a pirate crew which he didn't build. Even the crew won't follow him.
