Let me give some key hints as to why it might happen:

  1. The WG has an Ancient weapon, Blackbeard soon will get one too, the strowhats need one too ASAP, and since thousand Sunny was bullet with Ancient weapons In mind, it makes sense that it's the ship that will be turned into an Ancient weapon.
  2. The only place that has enough ADAM WOOD from which Sunny is made out of is Elbaf.
  3. We recently found out that Elbaf is place of very talented ship builders, the same ones that bullet water seven, the same guys who most likely left Ancient weapon blueprints to Tom. If there's place where they know how to build an Ancient weapon is Elbaf.
  4. Vegapank is the smartest guy in one piece, and coincidently so he's in Elbaf too.
Honestly, the hints are so uncanny I'm surprised nobody made a theory out of this.

Sure, but I doubt Loki's DF has size changing capabilities.
I do give you credit for some good points and I have nothing to argue against.

But did we see any main crew having ship of such size before? Not talking about Giants pirates for obvious reasons and Oars Junior as he wasn't part of main crew?

We still got people becoming SH candidates upon introduction and getting pushed while having no SH qualities. Some things never change lol
We still discuss Z vs S or Yonkou vs admiral or doffy vs xyz yc so having discussion on new candidate shouldn't be that surprising

Nah those debates have contradictions and vagueness in the series fueling them. Nakama posts are far more braindead and desperate, and I put them close to the level of shipping warriors. Its crazy how some people are wrong 3 times in a row, and rehash the same talking points for a new candidate and act like it means something. Even a child murderer despised by Luffy, Nami, and Chopper was pushed as a candidate lol

AL sama

Copy Ninja
it's funny now that ( think about it

Zoro
Sanji
Nami
Usopp
Chopper
Robin
Brook
Franky
Jinbe too to an extent

all fall under the category "a princess that to be rescued" :suresure::suresure:

So if Im following correctly, people are assuming Loki's fruit allows him to change size? Because his size was established as a problem for recruitment?

So Harald got his fruit recently before he died or so thing? Because he never bothered to shrink down for decades it seems even in the human world.

Harold wants both of his sons to support Elbaf together

And historically the Giant Warrior Pirates have always had 2 leaders

And from what I gather from what you been saying is you believe Loki will join the SH to prove Elbaf that they were wrong about him as he helps other places in the world, rather than clearing the misunderstanding about killing his father, mending the relationship with his brother and working with him to defend and better Elbaf together

Elbaf has already proven that they have the capability to be civil but in doing so they're loosing the ability to defend themselves

Loki staying to help build warriors is more beneficial to the country and to himself

I'm the LAST to jump on nakama bandwagon but I can't completely discard Loki because Luffy did invite him and it wasn't portrayed as a gag.
For Loki reason to join, we know that he dislikes the WG and if he learns Luffy declared war to the WG and punched a CD he might see Luffy as the one that will "change the world".
There's the powerlevel issue but maybe Elbaf/fight against HKs will be a long saga and Loki will officially join after Zoro/Sanji clearly jumped to top tier.

Yes. This.
Loki's and Hajrudin's relationship is built up as a parallel and will culminate in their reconciliation. Bumbaf needs to learn how to live without major prejudice against undesirable children that leads to inevitable alienation

Sure, other than Moria we haven't, but you have to remember that size in one piece is very inconsistent. Like if size had a consistent standard then Zoro shouldn't be able to use Enma because that blade was as big as Zoro himself when Oden was using it. There are many more egregious examples to this inconsistency when it comes to size. What we've seen from Loki so far is his introduction, the moment when Oda wants to shock us by his SHEER size, but even in few scenes with him, it's super inconsistent if you look at the panels. Right now it might seem like Loki is the biggest thing on the planet, but we have to wait to get his actual size in numbers from SBS or other sources, then we can compare it to Orz or other super big characters. I personally think that a ship by the size of Whitbeard's should be enough, but you can never know. Also, keep in mind that the Marines have ships that can carry Giants, similar to how San Juan Wolf IN HIS REGULAR SIZE WITHOUT HIS DF POWERS can move in ships too, confirmed by Oda I think in SBS. Even Loki with his bigger than an average giant size shouldn't be much bigger than them, I mean his father Harold was a pretty big giant too.

I won't go that far to compare it with shipping warriors - those people are mostly toxic.

Nakama thread may feel like people never learn but actually it's not people's fault - it's oda who deliberately bait readers only to subvert expectations later and this as well he does it deliberately.

No one was really into Loki joining as SH and then suddenly you get Luffy inviting him.

So, if some fans have their expectations raised then I don't blame them at all. They have reasons to do so. And, it's these theories and speculations which keep discussions alive and infuse breathe of fresh air unlike toxic power level arguments or shipping wars.

I really don't buy "He's too strong" or "he's too big" argument.

We often share our perspective - what we feel like should happen but not from character perspective.

From Luffy's perspective or SHs perspective, neither strength nor size matters. Never did.

For Luffy, it's the heart, the bond and the dream which really matters.

Rest of the issues - are all solvable by different means

50/50 on Vivi.

Otherwise crews full. Loki bros can cope forever
I'm a huge Loki fan but I know myself him joining, wont happen. Be little realistic guys...

Personally I have no issue with Loki's strenght but but I'd be extremely surprised if Oda would have the next crewmate disrupt the power hierarchy after emphasizing the wings, but hey you never know.

I only became an OP fan around 2021 so I never saw that. That's absolutely mental though :suresure:

Funny thing is, even if all these characters became crew members, Oda would barely give them any screentime or fights. Just look at Jinbe for example.
If anything people like Loki and Carrot not becoming crew members gives them a better chance at actually being written well.
