Somehow Carrot using the same float ability that all Minks have counts as her flying and being special. Even Neko changed directions mid air.
Guess you have to make up stuff for Carrot to stand out since Chopper can jump high and has transformations without the need of a full moon, Sanji can jump high along with changing directions mid air, and Nami outright uses lightning.

Very special indeed. In WCI, Carrot went with Brook to collect the Poneglpyh, has history with WCI, a flashback that had Roger in it, and battle against Tamago and sacrificed herself to save the SHs.

Well, she actually tricked Daifuku into destroying his own fleet and was out of commission afterwards. Ontop of that, Daifuku still got to the ship with Sanji needing to stop him, and the SHs still got trapped by a fleet in which the Fishman Pirates shaved them.

Gliding by definition is moving through the air without thrust. Meaning the person or aircraft moves and maneuvers through the air by not generating thrust themselves but use an external force. This can be a jump or gravity(jumping from a mountain). For example flying squirrels to it or Gliders(sport check it out).
Flying is moving through the air by generating thrust themselves. Example helicopters, airplanes or birds flapping their wings.
