See, the problem is that I'm both a writer and an artist. I don't like to brag, but with you guyz I don't have a choice. I possesse both knowledge to understand properly storytelling AND composition to a
 high degree. So when someone like you or Sigran tries to put my back against the wall on storytelling with the antagonist or composition with that.. I usually bites hard.
Here is the proof that your analysis is (partially) wrong. Carrot is INDEED a focus in this panel. Not the only one, but 
A focus nonetheless. She is here the secondary subject. Much like a hidden clew.
In a panel of this importance,
 this is not normal. This is in fact really odd and SHOULD raises eyebrows.
Oh Btw! I forgot to add that Carrot's head (and the sun of Jinbe) are PRECISELY at the center of this panel.
