What Manga are you all reading? How stupid do you all want to sound? EVEN in Gear 5 the only attacks which made Luffy bleed were the flying SLASHES from Kaido stop this ridiculous Cope :tchpepe:.

》Base Sword Attacks are dangerous for Luffys Base Rubber Body

》Armament Haki Luffy can block base non haki cutting Attacks

》Strong Armament Haki Slashes can cut Luffys Armament Haki Body if the Hakis are equal... depending on the Strengthgap of the Armament Hakis colliding

It damages luffy, but its as far as it goes.

Luffy will be strongest everything man by EoS so it won't make a difference.

Swords are Luffy's weakness because he doesn't have an unfair supernatural resistance to them like he does to blunt damage.

There's not even a need to take account the lethality of the attacks, and I don't think anybody's saying Luffy's body is naturally easier to cut than anybody else's, but his resistance to blunt damage helps him take much more damage than he could otherwise. So if he gets hit by slashing attacks, lethality aside, he'll be down much faster because they bypass his unnatural passive resistance; therefore, they're a weakness.

My apologies but there is wayyyyy too many examples in the manga

A: I see. Don't worry. It's fine. It might not seem obvious at first, but take a closer look. Don't you see how the spikes are at a different angle?!I added this difference to the jailer Beasts of Impel Down too. Even if those weapons all have spikes, I drew it so that you can see which ones can actually hurt Luffy. The sharper ones can puncture rubber. On the other hand, Alvida's club only has a kind of Blunt impact on rubber. That's the effect the spikes have. So I didn't mess up! No prize for you!

Luffy's weak to them the same way a non-rubber fighter is weak to them.

Weak in the sense that they're as effective as expected unlike blunt attacks which he has resistance to (though of course with haki, even that can knock him out if powerful enough of a blow). I think it's just arguing semantics, Luffy's not especially vulnerable to blades compared to the average top-tier but someone that primarily uses blades would be more effective than someone of the exact same strength and stats that doesn't is how I see it.

I agree, he's not really "weak" to them but people saying that are just saying what the manga says. He's weak because they're effective, not more effective than they'd be on another top-tier of similar stats minus the rubber fruit.

"Luffy is not weak to cuts."

Stop this denial.

Cutting and piercing attacks are Luffy's weakness. Period.

However, this doesn't mean Luffy will automatically lose to someone who's a cutting/piercing type.

Also, if Luffy were to defeat a top top tier cutting/piercing character, say for example Mihawk, Oda would either:

1. Oda will make Luffy overcome the cuttng attack with Luffy's stronger attack

2. Oda will make Luffy even bend the black blade if need be

This is how much Oda loves Luffy.

There is no need to be insecure.
