don't see kuma dying either, as for self destruct switch, i think it got destroyed along with command chip. since marine said kuma control chip is not working. when akainu blasted half his head off.

kuma overcoming all years of suffering and reunite with his daughter is already beautiful moment. as he unleash all the years of pain back on to saturn and protect his baby daughter!

also his head regenerated and his leg as well. showing he has fast healing ability.

OK. The idea that Kuma would die was always delusional. But now we have strong solid evidence he won't.

I for one dont think he'll die because Oda has made his backstory way too sad and focused on the present character to where I feel he needs to be central to the endgame in some way now. Plus, torturing Bonney with his death after this is completely fucked lol.

But if Oda does kill him off then it will be one of the series greatest moments/payoffs for how emotional it can be.

Really dont mind it either way

Him dying would make for a better story, but it’s very unlikely it will happen, not after Oda spent all this effort in making us feel sorry for him.

I do think that the “kill switch” Saturn ordered is going to play a role soon, but I expect Oda to maneuver around it somehow nevertheless.
